I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a really attractive dog pad that meets a practical need for every pet owner. I have put it in my dog's crate as a slight cushion, and to protect the crate in case she has an accident. It washes up very well, and is very thick and high quality. I also like to use it on road trips with my dog, just in case. The plaid pattern is great in case any stains were to happen, as the pattern should hide them. It easily folds up for compact storage, but is very large in size. I would definitely recommend this very useful dog pad for training a puppy or for an older dog.

If the liquid is directly in the middle it does soak in and stays in however it repels the liquid first. So if it's near the edges of the mat is just runs off, so for that it's 3 stars to me because the animal needs to pee in the middle in order for it to be effective and that's just not practical.

I originally thought that I would use this product in lieu of disposable dog training pads for my puppies, but having tried that once, I feel like it would be a lot better as a crate liner. I didn't like having to wash the pee out of it, and would only want to do it occasionally. I also have used it as a sofa protector, not for urine, but for food. My older dog really likes to eat on the sofa, and she can make a mess. The pad acts as a lovely plaid tablecloth for her dining pleasure! As other reviewers have mentioned, there are many uses for this pad. It's well made and looks nice.

Obviously, it's great for lining the bottom of a cage or adding extra protection to a pet bed. Additionally, I think it could be great for putting in a car for long trips with your furry friend. And, if you find yourself with one of these, but no pet, consider using these to line a bed for a little one who might be potty training. Again, there are many, many ways to use this.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a really good pee pad. The size is great for a larger dog and will hold a lot from a small dog. The pee is quickly absorbed into it and doesn't leave a puddle sitting on top. The back layer keeps the floor underneath it totally dry. I love the plaid design, but it does make it a little harder to tell if it's been peed on.

I bought this for my sweet kitty, Silas. He had just days to live after being diagnosed with feline lymphoma that affected his kidneys. Im writing this review to let people know this IS NOT SOFT. This product is essentially a piece of fabric covered in a plastic on both sides so things underneath your pet dont get ruined by urine. To keep your pet from becoming a total, wet mess, you need a puppy pad on top of this which, i feel, defeats the purpose. His urine would just sit on top of this, soaking his fur. He was MUCH more comfortable just laying in his bed with a puppy pad on top of his blanket. Maybe if your pet only has SMALL accidents, this might be good. But if you have an incontinent pet, I don’t see a practical use for this.
