I bought this box of pods and they do not work in my coffee maker. I know it is not the coffee maker because it is brand new, and I didn't have this problem with the other brands of pods that I had. My coffee cup was full of grounds. The box said "keurig hot" so it should have worked, but it didn't. I have used Maxwell House coffee in my regular coffee pot, and like the flavor, but will never buy the pods again. And they were not cheap!!!

Love the taste of maxwell house breakfast blend coffee. However, very disappointed with the kcups. It seems as if every other cup I make ends up with all the coffee grinds in the cup. Very upsetting when you’re trying to make it out the door with my fresh cup of coffee headed to work...I buy the box of 100 and it’s sad that half of them do this. I see it has been a problem for years now. Any idea how to make this. It happen??

It seems in rare instances, the filter paper may weaken, or may not be properly bound to the cup, potentially sending grinds into the cup. I just purchased my second box of 100 pods. About every third or fourth one, I get a cup full of grounds. I enjoy Maxwell House coffee, but pods for Keurig are expensive and I don't enjoy dumping a full cup of coffee, especially first thing in the morning. I probably will not purchase these again. I would recommend with a warning about this problem.

I bought an 18 pack of K-CUP PODS and out of the 3 that I've tried, ALL THREE blew out the filter and filled my cup and Keurig with coffee grounds.

My wife and I had been drinking Maxwell House French Roast (ground coffee) for years and years! And we loved it! A number of years ago (many ... probably about 5 years ago) we switched to Maxwell House French Roast K-Cups. Loved it - same great taste! (And, NO, we did not have any problems with the k-cups as other people have mentioned). Then about a year or so ago, something changed - the beans, the brew ... I don't know what it was, but something changed. The coffee was no longer any good. (It seems like it was around the time Maxwell House came out with their new 'Bold' flavored coffee). I've tried buying a box now and then of the French Roast K-cups to see if it was just a temporary problem, but no luck. It is terrible compared to what it was. So, I no longer buy Maxwell House. I think the least Maxwell House could have done is tell us they stopped making the original French Roast. And please don't tell me that nothing has changed. I've been drinking it long enough to know. (I've purchased the product at a number of different stores and online - same issue).

I love maxwell house use coffee but I am having the same problem with my pods. Only a few drinkable cups in the entire box. My favorite is the bold but I currently have the original medium. 3 pods yesterday morning flooded my cups with grounds which means tearing my Kuerig apart to clean

I am an avid coffee drinker, and was also elated that Maxwell House came out with K-Cups. But very disappointed in the fact that I'm get a cup full of grounds when I brew. As I buy the 84 K-Cup pack and it's not cheap. I'm done with Maxwell House and will go back to my dependable Folgers K-Cup. Not going to was my money drinking coffee grounds.

After years of drinking Maxwell House my husband and I are going to have to go to another brand. We have a Keurig 2.0. No matter how many boxes of Maxwell House K Cups I buy from any store, the entire cup always fills with what seems like the entire K Cup's worth of grounds. It is disgusting and a waste of our money. Unfortunately, I have only just read the reviews and it seems like this is an ongoing problem and has been for over a year.

I have been a happy Maxwell House coffee drinker for many years. I recently purchased a Keurig coffee pot and large box (84) of Maxwell House k cups. I'm very disappointed in the coffee. It's very weak even after setting machine on strong. I've had other brands of coffee without the disappointing flavor.

These pods (original) aren't worth it !! Every single one I have used in my Keriq the coffee grounds go into cup. Royal Pain! However the House Blend does not do it.

I have bought several boxes of the maxwell house coffee k cups, only to be disappointed each time that they will not work with my machine! These are the ones that have the ridges around the cylinder. Very disappointed and will not be buying this again! Maxwell House coffe is the best tasting coffee ever but this is very aggravating and a total loss of a lot of money!!! Hello SandyBear - Thank you for reaching out to us and we're sorry to hear you've had this experience with our Maxwell House Coffee Pods. We are currently repackaging all of our K-Cups for use in the Keurig 2.0 brewer. After a transition period, all Kraft single-serve pods will be compatible with the new Keurig 2.0 machine. Look for a black compatibility icon on the bottom-left corner of the front of the package. The icon will appear with a check mark and say “For use in all Keurig K-Cup Brewers.” This means that the product has transitioned and is now compatible. The K-Cups that are compatible with the 2.0 brewers do not have ridges on the K-Cups. We hope this information has been helpful and have a great day!

This is the second time I have tried buying this product, every time I use it my whole cup is filled with grounds. I even tried the whole box just to see if one would work. Unless you like drinking grounds I would not recommended this ever!

My husband received a Keurig single-cup brewer for Christmas and has been trying different K-cup products since. He has has no problems with any other brand, but the Maxwell House cups result in grounds flooding throughout the machine and ending up in the cup. It is clear from reading the many other reviews I have found on different sites that this problem with Maxwell House is not rare, as the company's responses to some commenters suggest, nor is it a new problem, as the negative reviews date back quite some time. We are very disappointed in this product from a company with such a distinguished history.
