I was a die-hard Almay mascara user for years, but unfortunately they discontinued the mascara I was using so I went on the hunt for another. After a ton of research I finally found this mascara and never looked back. It does a great job lengthening my lashes while still looking very natural and subtle. It doesn't go on clumpy. I really love using this mascara and have bought it multiple times since using it.

I have been buying this mascara for 20+ years. The last few months I have been dealing with clumpy eyelashes, red irritated eyes, falling out lashes, etc. I thought it was an old tube because the mascara had hardened and it was hard to close. I bought a brand new one: again, the issues continued. I started researching and sure enough im so sad to discover that the formula has changed. Seriously, heart breaking as this is probably the ONLY product I was consistently using for 20 years. This new formula is a no go for me and due to the terrible side effects would not recommend to anyone. Actually I highly recommend to stay away. My eye lashes are just now starting to grow back now that I have switch to a new (and not maybelline) mascara. Sorry Maybeline but you shouldn’t have changed a good thing.

Doesn’t irritate my eyes, and gives great length and volume and it looks very natural. The key is to also use a good eyelash curler and take off product off the wand on paper towel(it is a bit wasteful but it works)!

They changed the formula. There is a horrible strong odor and it’s dry and flaky. I’ve been wearing this for almost 20 years and I can’t believe I have to switch to something else now.

Changed product, I have worn this mascara for over 20 years. Bought one thought it was expired so grabbed another and same! Dry, clumpy and nothing like what it was for all these years. SO BUMMED!!!!!!! Bring back the old formula 😫

This would be 5 stars but something has changed. Maybelline claims the formula hasn't but why are many people saying the same- incredibly dry and flaky after a few uses. I loved this mascara originally because it would stay wet and non clumpy after many uses. Within the week of having this, dry clumps of mascara are already balling up and forming on the cap at the top and the formula itself is dry! Go back to the other way of making this because this isn't doing it.

I’ve been wearing this mascara since high school. I am now 40. I tried other expensive kinds but always come back to this one. I like the waterproof and with makeup remover it comes off easily. They do make my lashes full and soft.

Used to be a favorite formula has changed it truly was natural looking with length and volume didn't smear or smudge not sure why maybelline changed a good product it's thicker like tar and almost unusable why change a good product that works I thought I got a bad one but since have bought a few they're all like that and after reading reviews it's not the same so disappointed.

Honestly, this is the best mascara ever. It stays on yet without aching or clumping and washes off easily-at least the washable kind does. Your eyelashes feel healthy and & full but not stiff and bothersome. I can’t say enough good things about this mascara and hope they continue making it forever.

I love this mascara! it is one of the few that I have tried that doesn't clump and the waterproof stays on even at the beach. In the past I have gotten this mascara in Brownish Black, which was perfect for my light skin tone and blonde hair. I am having trouble finding this color now and do not want to wear Black because it is much too harsh for my coloring. If it has been discontinued, I hope they read this review and continue to produce Brownish Black.

I have used this mascara for years. It has changed and is now ay to clumpy and sticky. It used to be the best mascara. Why change a good formula? Please bring back the original formula. I keep buying it hoping I just bought an old one, but I won’t waste my money again until the old formula comes back.
