Mayflower Floral Quilt Set - Makers Collective

The king size quilt is listed as 104“ x 90“. The problem is that the print has been printed the wrong direction so that if it’s oriented properly on your bed, it is too long and narrow. I have a standard king not a California king and when I put this quilt on my bed so that the pattern is properly oriented I have less than 12 inches on each side of my mattress that the quilt hangs over and 30 inches hanging over the feet of my bed. This is a problem because I don’t want the flowers to be sideways but that’s the only way it will properly fit my mattress. Would probably be ok on a California king because those mattresses are 6” narrower - but definitely not for a standard king. Unfortunately, I will have to return it I really enjoyed the colors and was excited to have a fun print like this in my bedroom. Seems like a fairly large oversight.

This quilt is very pretty. As others have mentioned the colors do fade after only one wash and continue to fade with washing. I purchased a king and it barely covered our mattress. I will say I had my doubts it would be big enough and shouldn’t have purchased it but I loved the design so much. Unfortunately, it also shrunk since washing and now I’m on the hunt for something new. I will keep it to use on a smaller bed.

The bedding is really pretty and good quality! Perfect for a spring or summer vibe.

Searched for awhile for 100% cotton quilt sets with a nice print. Finally found this on the target site. The print of this set is really lovely, absolutely pretty. Love all the different colors! Stars off for a few reasons. 1. After I washed it, using all the color laundry detergent and following the tag directions, the color faded and the front side print’s colors was much less vibrant than before I washed it. 2. I have found more than a handful of loose stitching with inches of thread coming loose. 3. Quilt seems to have shrunk a little. All these make me question the quality a little, hoping that it lasts me for a long time because I really love the print.

Bright, beautiful colors! Quilt washed great and is soft. Perfect for summer weather.

The pattern is lovely, the colors vibrant. It did shrink a little (as expected given that it is 100% cotton) so if you want a lot of overhang you might size up to a king for a queen bed. Very happy with this new pop of color in the room!

Overall, I am happy with my purchase, especially getting it on sale. It is perfect for a summer light blanket. I agree with the other reviewer that said the material is quite thin. I also have to put another blanket over it now that temperatures are dipping into the 60s and 50s at night. It will be perfect to use next summer!

I love this set but it's a little thinner than expected. I am adding a cotton blanket underneath for a little more warmth. But I love the print and vibrant pattern, and it's well-made.

I love this set! The only thing is I wish you could buy shams separately. I bought a king quilt because I love the size in our queen bed, but I need standard shams. Luckily I can sew and alter the king shams, but it would have been easier to just buy them separately. Otherwise, this quilt is gorgeous!
