This package has everything you need, both a top notch 400 Watt subwoofer and an enclosure that fits perfectly.
This new Discus subwoofer from MB Quart is an all new design based on the popular RLP Shallow Subwoofer line. The MB Quart Discus 400 Watt Max 10 inch shallow mount subwoofer features 2 inch voice coils, thermal formed poly cone, vented aluminum former, and butyl surround. With less than 3 inches mounting depth, this is perfect for trucks or similar applications.
This Q Power Single 10 Inch Sealed Car Audio Subwoofer Box Enclosure features solid 0.625 inch MDF construction, charcoal carpet covering, terminal cup connectors, 0.9 cubic feet of air space, and a mounting depth of 4.75 inches. This enclosure is compatible with the included subwoofer.
Note: Subwoofer must be wired and installed into enclosure.

Really improved my sound quality for sure. Gives it nice bass and improved the music listening experience for sure. I would recommend this speaker to anyone.

Definitely recommend finding a local installer who can hook everything up the right way if you're unable to install everything yourself. Having the experience really matters. I'm happy with how this turned out.

The package includes instructions for car installation and explains the measurements for putting it in a box and for electrical installation. It is super easy to install and comes well identical to the colors of the connection cables. It can be adapted with several speakers in series depending on the amplifier you have installed in your car. The manufacturing materials are of high quality, both the magnet and the rubber. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MB-Quart DS1-254 shallow mount sub driver is a higher quality clean sounding sub. If it’s used in a smaller sealed box it’s very flat and tight. It’s more of a “musical” sound as opposed to a noise maker. The voice coil had a little scratch in it. But it broke In nice and it moves well. Pretty good excursion for a shallow planar driver. I’d recommend it when used in an audiophile type of set up. Rather than the “banger” that passes your house nightly.

Pretty easy for my husband to install in my car, although I'm pretty sure it would have been more difficult for me to install. Works great though and looks nice in the door.
