The 18oz container of country gravy mix should have the mixing instructions on the outside label. I see that for 2 years people have complained. Just fix it already.

I am astounded at the complete incompetence of your company's recipe for the country gravy packets. It did not have any added salt to it and it was so salty that I could not bring myself to take a second bite. This is the most horrible gravy that I have ever tried. I really do like your products and have usually not been disappointed until now. Please be aware of the sodium content that is in your country gravy packets and adjust it accordingly as it is entirely way to much at the present time.

Absolutely love it. It makes a gravy, nice and thick and then I add a little other things to it and nobody even knows that it came from a pack of gravy. It taste like homemade.

Extremely SALTY. Very disappointed with this product. Packet shows 230mg of sodium, but something changed and possibly a bad batch with double the sodium.

For everyone complaining, MAKE IT WITH MILK! If you want phenomenal biscuits & sausage gravy, cook up some ground sausage & throw it in the gravy. Just forget the water completely.

I have a 18 oz container and it took me 20 minutes to peel the outer label off to get to the directions .must be a better way . I assume some where along the way the container was in heat or the glue machine added to much glue. Just to let you know

Making country gravy from scratch can be timely and get mixed results depending on sausage used, seasoning ratios, etc. This gravy is a great quick way to have solid country gravy ready for fried steaks, biscuits, etc. Some reviews saying it comes out too watery....well you either add less water or simmer it for a bit longer, just basic cooking common sense. Definitely a staple to keep in my pantry.

My dear wife grew up in Tennessee and biscuits and gravy was a breakfast staple. This McCormick Original Country Gravy Mix is wonderful, easy to prepare and very economical in the 18 oz. size. Also used to make "SOS" (an old military mess hall treat) with ground beef and it was fine. Good stuff and it will stay on our list of favorites.

I swore the first time I made it using water even though it said milk and it was fine; but now it doesn't mix at all unless you use milk. The water mix is gone from stores; only this one is left. It looks like vomit and has the most disgusting consistency you could imagine. Give me a refund. Not only a refund; give me the breakfast I had to skip because of this garbage.

I have always only used milk and it was great poured over white rice. It seems somebody is being a little stingy with the sausage taste ingredient. Please check on this and go back to the formula that contained more sausage flavor. Thanks for listening.

I really hate this new milk mix. No matter what it scorches and tastes burnt. I have tried this mix a few times and have watched it carefully; kept the burner down on med. heat and stirred. Just when I think I finally did it just right it tasted burnt! I have yet had a successful gravy using the new mix. I NEVER had any problem with the mix that used water. Please go back to the water mix. This new mix is horrible.
