Description

Some heroes are made, not born. A combination of Superman and Lex Luthor’s DNA, Superboy was an outsider from his inception. Raised in a lab, and aged to maturity in the public spotlight, Superboy went from a young teenager with an attitude to a more mature veteran of the Super Hero team Young Justice.

Reused Insufficient Action Figure Body Buck

3 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Strange Visitor - 5 months ago
This figure completely reuses the body of the self-promotional two pack with Spawn that the company owner released. Therefore, the torso, arms and - for that matter - even the legs are of an older 40s, 50s man who isn't in Superhero shape. Compared to Peacemaker and some other recent DCMVs that are in more of a street level type uniform and you will notice this. And once you stand this figure with other Superman family or even other DC figures and this really stands out. I would have marked this with only 1 of 2 stars but the jeans look decent and the tee turned out good, as shown in the close up picture. The extra heads are a plus though I would have preferred a smiling head with normal hair and having the bald laser eyes be something for the alternate Chase box. Recommended only for hardcore completionist like me. The average fan should wait on a further release, unless they already purchased the Kon-El figure with the leather jacket.

I love this figure. I'm happy that he came with 3 heads and an environmental stand as well as a regular stand.

The Future of DC Comics

1 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Angry ManChild - 6 months ago
The modern crop of writers and editors at DC comics have completely ruined this brand. They have made the sons of Superman and Batman (adopted) a total a joke. Note to future entertainers: Keep your political idealism to yourself.
