Q: I've seen some pretty frightening pics in the reviews showing that Target just put a shipping label on the item box itself. Has anyone received the Batmobile in a actual outer shipping box?

A: I ordered it because it was out of stock everywhere by me and it came destroyed no outer box and it was shipped to someone else before the old label was on it from previous shipping i wanted it as a collectors piece but returned it still on the hunt for a decent one in the box
submitted byKev k - 6 months agoA: The way Target works is it ships from the nearest store with it in stock, and the stores only have certain sized boxes. This won't fit in those boxes, so it won't have an outer box.

A: The price isn’t high considering any other Mcfarlane Batmobile cost at least $69.99 or more. This is a re-issue and the original that came out in 2015 is going for $200 or more on eBay.

First off, this is nothing like the original one, the quality is not good, the size is ridiculous, like it's huge! If you're a collector looking to add to their arsenal, I would not recommend this if you could I would try to track down somebody with an original one and get it from them because the quality and the overall look of this Batmobile is just cheap.

This McFarlane BTAS Bamobile release is re-release of the DC Collectibles BTAS Batmobile from around ten years ago; it had a retail price of $85 at the time. That Batmobile had black body color, where as this is a blue top and black front and sides. (You can find pictures/videos of both versions onliine.) Prior to the August 2024 release of this McFarlane's BTAS Batmobile, the DC Collectibles version was selling for $250+ on eBay, so this $79.99 Target version is a great deal. It's an even better deal if you can get it on clearance at $23.99.

Why?? Why on earth would you not pack this in a carton box? It's all dented, so now it's not as valuable. Funny how this item is non-returnable either. You really dropped the ball on this one.

I orderd this item and have many orders in tha past without issues, but this order came in beat up on both sides and had the shipping sticker on the item and shipped with out and box protection. I'm a collector and bought the item as part of my collection and was never meant to be open. mint and new, but not able to do that. now with the item scard from the shipping label and the boce punched in on both sides.

Box actually arrived in perfect shape! I don't collect boxes but will save it for someone else who wants it. Batmobile arrived in perfect shape also. This is not expensive, smaller Batmobiles on McFarlane cost 100 bucks. Plus shipping. I paid 79 free shipping. I suggest you grab one.

I know it says it ships in a box that indicates what the product is, but I assumed it at least came in an outer shipping box. Nope, shipped with no outer packaging at all! It took me 4 tries before I finally got ONE decent box that wasn't too badly damaged. As a collector, especially of store exclusives, I want to box to be in mint condition. I finally got lucky and found one in store that was in mint condition and returned all of the others (but even a lot of the in-store ones were not in great shape).

Item came delivered in original box damaged. Good thing I didn't plan on keeping it but for other box collectors be warned. $80 price tag is a bit much for the item as well. Feels cheaply made. Inside car had few tiny pieces rattling around I'm sure minor inside damage. And roof slide is terrible easy to snap and break. Also battery cover is already stripped after adding batteries. It looks nice to be honest but not worth the retail price. $50 or less honestly. I own the joker mobile as well. That was done right and at a $50 price tag as well they slipped up on this one. Good luck Batman fans.
