These apples were dyed so an inch into the apple is red. Do not buy!!!

Disappointed. I couldn’t help buying when I saw these McIntosh Apples bags at Target since the store I usually go other than Target doesn’t carry these apples, and sometimes too crispy and unsweet. It turned out it’s the same thing from Target. Too hard and crispy, less sweet for McIntosh Apples. Now we can’t trust “McIntosh” labels anywhere in NYC? Maybe Apple farms changed??

I ordered a fairly large order for drive up while caring for people with COVID so I wouldn't have to be in contact with anyone even though I am not positive. Unfortunately, the bag of McIntosh Apples was pretty bad. I know they are a someone tender apple, but still this bag looks like it should have been sold a while ago. I would love to go exchange them, but that would require me to go back and into the store. I think perhaps avoid ordering Macs for pickup so you can look at them yourself. The other apples I ordered, which are firmer apples, were fine, but these, every apple I can see in the bag has huge bruises and gashes in them.
