McKesson Dorsal Night Splint, for Either Foot Adult Large X-Large

McKesson's dorsal night splint holds the foot in a neutral position during sleep, helping to alleviate morning pain and discomfort associated with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. It may also be used for other conditions where stabilization of the ankle in a neutral position is required. The night splint works by stretching toes upward to provide dorsiflexion. A strong plastic support is contoured to fit along the shin and top of the foot. This thermoplastic dorsal shell helps hold the foot in a neutral, 90° position providing a moderate stretch. The splint features a slide-in foot loop to easily initiate application and secure the two contact-closure straps. Although not recommended for everyday walking, the open-heel design secured with contact closures at the calf and foot allows for minimal, safe ambulation as needed. This low-profile splint is designed to be less bulky compared to traditional boot style night splints that limit user to sleeping on one's back.
