I have no idea why anyone in the negative reviews could not separate these bins. I had absolutely no issue separating them. I also didn’t have to call a useless bodybuilder or football player neighbor

I can’t give these a fair review in terms of usage because I can’t get them apart. They are packed with a thin piece of tissue paper in between each of them. They literally feel like they are glued together. I have even asked a neighbor who is a body builder to get them apart. It is virtually impossible. Hoping I can get this resolved. I am organizing my twins’ space. I need these bins for their cubbies.

I had exactly the same problem with my bins. . . ordered 8 of them and soapy water didn't phase them. . .They appear to be superglued together!! I guess I'll give olive oil a try now. . . A simple piece of paper between the bins is not an expensive investment by MDesign but would have definitely made a HUGE difference in my review. Definitely not User Friendly.

Despite warnings in the reviews of how impossible it is to pull them apart, these were exactly the size & material I needed, so I bought them anyway. My 8 bins came in 2 stacks of 4. I tried for over 10 minutes to pry them apart & couldn’t get them to budge. I contacted customer service who suggested putting them in the freezer or soaking them in cool, soapy water. I put them in my bathtub, but even after pulling the sides in a bit to get the soap in between the bins, they were still glued together. My football player neighbor came over & even he couldn’t pry them apart. I finally squirted olive oil on all 4 sides between the top 2 bins & after fighting them for over 10 minutes I finally got the top bin to release! This is absolute insanity just to open 8 plastic storage bins. Why not put a large square of paper in between them so they don’t stick together in the first place? It shouldn’t take 90 minutes of total frustration to open 8 storage containers. I can’t remember a more annoying unboxing process EVER.

Boxes were exactly as described. Arrived in great condition in a timely manner and worked perfectly for the odd shaped cubby cabinets I have. Being clear the kids can see through the boxes so they don't dump out boxes just to see what's in the bottom. As other reviews stated, the boxes came stacked tightly together. There was paper between, but they were still tight. Took me a bit, but I did discover that pushing the handles of the box together ever so slightly while another (or I just used my knees) pulled the other box they came apart very easily. Love the boxes and wouldn't hesitate to order again.

The boxes themselves were good. The packaging was MISERABLE! I had the boxes fully submerged in soapy water while trying to pry them apart with a spatula with the help of another person and they wouldn't budge. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a product I ordered.

Love the color and would like to use but I cannot get the bins the separate. They are stuck together and won’t pull apart.

I love these bins! However, I cannot give it a 5 star rating because they were shipped stacked inside one another and were nearly impossible to get apart. They are large and had to be soaked in cold soapy water. Even then, it required two people and a lot of muscle to separate them. They need to be packed differently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been searching for bins like this my entire life! Every other bin I've ever found leaves too much empty space in a cubbie square. These are big, sturdy, and fill the space perfectly. Couldn't be happier.
