I love how we interacted building and crashing over and over. I love the hoods on these cars and would recommend as a fun family toy that provides entertainment and learning.

It was just the right amount of challenging to hold his attention and not get frustrated by the process. Once it was put together, it's durable enough to play with. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my kids loved playing with the Mega Hot Wheels Smash N Crash Tiger Shark Chomp Course. After they quickly but the track and cars, they were off and battling! They has competitions like best out of 3 and sudden death. They had fun seeing how far back they could pull the vehicles and still have cars. The tiger detailing looks amazing. Once I told my kids that they could use other brand building blocks, they got excited all over again and started adding cool creations to the vehicles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set provided lots of enjoyment for both the build and the play process. My 6yr old actually spent more time building with it along with some help by me. The pull back action gives it a surprisingly extra kick of fun and it the wheel assemblies on the truck seem to be designed to easily pop off when it crashes for extra excitement, which are easily re-attached. If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to have fewer pieces to assemble for the younger kids; a typical 5yr old is definitely going to need a little adult help assembling. Other than that, we are pleasantly surprised about the combination of enjoyment with building and features of the set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this toy was too difficult for my 6 year old to fully put together by himself, with the help of a sibling, it came together fairly quickly. I liked the fact that there was a "creation" for this toy to be played with as well as the overall play. Everything put together ended up being a pretty fun toy for my son and one that he has continued to enjoy playing with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cool Lego/hot wheels set! My son is almost 5 years old, and enjoyed putting this together with the help of dad. He thought it was such a cool thing to be able to actually build the course for the hot wheels. It was a pretty easy set to put together, not too complicated and the instructions were nice and easy to follow. The two cars that come with the kit are very nice! They have the rolling action to them that when you pull them back, they “drive” forward. High quality. The cars also feel nice and sturdy, not thin or flimsy pieces. Overall, very nice set. We loved the idea of combining the love of legos and hot wheels. The course was fun, jumping the cars over the ramps and through “flames”. And was satisfying building the course ourselves at home. This set follows the brands standards with high quality and fun for kids, would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson loves Hot Wheels and loves building things, so this toy was a perfect combination of both. He was able to put the cars and track together without any major issues. The only problem he had on a couple of parts was getting them to snap together. A few were pretty tough to connect but it was not a major issue. He loved the way that when the vehicles crashed they would come apart; but were easy to put back together. He also likes the fire flames that go on the arch over the track. His only complaint was that he wished the flames that sat in the middle would connect but they would only sit on top. My grandson also loves sharks so it was a plus that one of the vehicles had a shark design. He has really enjoyed playing with this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was quite a chore for child to put together initially. Gave up and adult finished. Too many pieces for age group I think. Was fun to play with with once together. Vehicles never did crash and explode while playing. Couldnt get vehicles up to a speed where they could "explode". Some pieces did fall off the cars while playing but mostly the ramps and "rings of fire" lost pieces. Child's interest wained after 20 minutes or so of play. Assembly of product took an adult approx an hour. I would increase age of this toy to 8 yrs or older. Too complex for younger kids. I wouldnt purchase unless the child really enjoyed block type toy assembly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having 3 little boys who are always building and very active. This was the perfect gift for my middle son who is 5 and the oldest who is 8 years old. They both love hot wheels and building things together. When things get challenging my oldest loves to teach and help the younger son. I won't lie it was a lot of pieces for my 5 year old but with the help of his dad and brother they managed to put it together. The boys loved racing the cars together, using the smash and crash course! Although, many times the pieces would fall off from the amount of smashing the boys did but they easily put them back together. The booklets with the instructions were fairly simple to follow and it was color coded to match the pieces. The boys also tried following on the app but they decided the booklet was easier to use and provided better instructions. Overall a good quality set that easily provides fun and family time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Hot Wheels Smash & Crash Monster Trucks set was a hit with my boys. They loved putting it together and playing with the set. My 7 year old put together his car using the instructions without any problems, but my 5 year old did have some issues with placing pieces. The instructions weren’t very easy to follow for him. They did think it was very cool that when the vehicles crashed that the car/truck hoods popped off. But the monster truck seemed to fall apart more easily when driving it and crashing, which was more frustrating for my 5 year old. He kept having to put it back together. Overall, they did love playing with the set, but if your kiddo is younger, they will require more help putting it together.

Once it was built, all three have enjoyed playing with it. They enjoyed taking turns launching the car and monster truck on the ramps and seeing the results. The pull back style of these vehicles added to the fun.

My four year old thought it looked really cool and played with it for a little bit but was discouraged when it kept breaking apart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like Hot Wheels and you like Mega blocks, this is the toy! I love that the mega block component of it allowed my son to "build" his track. I like that Hot Wheels has joined the 2. both classic toys and kids love! The little men are a perfect mix with the monster trucks, with the ramps and crazy flames. If your child is a thrill seeker, like me son, this will be right up their ally! The product description says ages 5+ and 245 pieces. I think this could definitely be for kids above 5 who love cars and to build and even around age 4 with the big trucks!
