Q: It says hand wash “recommended”. It doesn’t say “only” which leaves the door open to ask if these are dishwasher safe if used in the top rack only?

A: According to the manufacturer it is recommended to hand wash only. The silicone is safe for dishwasher use, but not the wood handles.
