Q: does it shread cheese and can you make fries with it

A: I am not sure, but I have seen some similar and all they can do is make hash browns, hope this helps
submitted byKahud48 - 5 years agoA: This does shred cheese, but it's best to use hard cheese or cheese that has been slightly frozen for best results. You can not make fries with it, but you can grate your potato for hash-browns.

I wanted this to work well but it didn’t, couldn’t chop vegetables and they got caught up in it, even mushrooms were not easy, and zucchini in small amounts got stuck. Not worth it, try another one.

I returned this item because the packing slip at the bottom of the packing box has a special sticker WARNING this product contains chemicals known to cause cancer. P65 warning in California. This warning should have been in the description on the website.
