Q: Two questions is the table top too young for my five year old grandson? Also, i purchased you art accessorieskit paint, paper, brushes abd cups will the cups fit in the table top holders?

Q: Does the easel have more than one setting to adjust the angle? It seems it would require kiddos to lean over a lot (straining the lower back) to draw.

My child enjoys this, but the only way it will stay upright, is with the biggest books in our house supporting it. When I reached out to Melissa and Doug, they explained that it would only stay still if the support bar was fully extended, which leaves the easel facing the ceiling.

My mom got my daughter this for Christmas and I waited until we got her table ( a Melissa and Doug table and chair set) and this easel is terrible. It takes up the entire table and like others have said it is not functional. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed with this table top because it slides down as soon as it is set up. Can’t use it as pictured. You would think that the rubber feet would hold it in place but they don’t. For that reason, I would not recommend this desktop.

As others have said, the easel doesn’t have any way to secure the stand. So it folds shut. Great idea, horrible execution. I bought it for my 4 yo granddaughter, she rarely uses it because it’s frustrating. I can live with the lack of storage, I put all the magnets in a little lidded tub along with a set of bright colored dry erase markers. I typical love M&D toys, but this one is a big miss. Way. Too expensive for what it is. Buy. A dry erase board from a big. Box store it will be super inexpensive and provide frustration free activity fir the kids.

We own several Melissa and Doug products. I liked that this was tabletop so I wasn't stuck with an easel that I had to keep out all the time. This however, doesn't impress. My mom ordered for my daughter for Christmas, and was so upset and disappointed. My daughter loves to draw, but we haven't been able to find a way to properly secure the paper. Also, it would have been great if there was some kind of storage for all the magnets. The dog already got a hold of one! Finally, if its on the table it slips easily. I would definitely look into another brand.

The easel does not lock into place so it slides all over when my granddaughter tries to draw on it. The paper roll is supposed to slide under a slat of wood that's very difficult to maneuver. There's no place to put all the magnetic letters/numbers when you're not using them and the boards too small to use all of them at once. Very poorly designed. Not practical. I wasted my money buying her this for Christmas.
