Melissa & Doug Let's Explore Flower Gardening Play Set

I’m thinking that this should be a great gift. This is for my granddaughter’s Christmas. At least one of her gifts. Her and her brother are going to get a playhouse from Santa Claus this year so this should be an added gem to their little playhouse.

My daughter loves this flower set. It’s so cute! I love to watch her start from scratch to finish and learn the process of how a flower actually grows!

Disappointed in this purchase. Not as interactive as other Melissa & Doug toys.

My 3 yo great nephew loves water toys and his dad also gardens.

Boring, you can only do so much with this toy…. It’s simple and not much too it. I can’t imagine a kid over 2 playing with this for more than 5 minutes.

My kids love plants and gardening, this will be a nice addition to their toys. Hopefully it will hold up over time. I love the color change with water.

cute idea but after one use they didn't dry out completely and now smell musty. kids enjoyed but they are pretty one note play wise and now they smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gardening set from Melissa and Doug is a fun way to teach your little one the basics of growing flowers. I would say it's mostly for outdoor playtime, but we just set a towel down underneath if she's playing indoors. My 5 year old loves it. It comes with all the essentials, just add water to the spray bottle and when you spray the flowers they bloom. I usual just set them in my dish drying track when she is done playing and let them dry overnight. I silly definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son (just turned 6) was thrilled to get this and played with it for a couple of hours. I think he's just on the line of being a little too old for it so I worried he wouldn't like it. He surprised me. I think it's probably ideal for maybe she's ages 2-4. Every piece is made of fabric, plastic or chipboard except the water bottle. I would have preferred that been "fake" as well as I found him with it filled with water spraying his fabric flowers. All is well though and he has played with a few occasions since.

Then when they realized when you spray the flowers with the water the patterns appear. Such a cool way to learn germination. Highly recommended for little one to learn about seeds and planting. Melissa & Doug always coming in clutch for learning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter who is 5 years old and I opened this toy and she absolutely loved it. It actually kept her attention much longer than most toys do. Here are some of the highlights of this set that made it so much fun to play with: -It color changes -You can use real water in the spray bottle that is included -She loved watering the "pretend soil" -The seeds actually fit in the seed packets -There are two different flowers, and the Tulip has a ladybug that appears by surprise on it. The daisy is ombre color. -We both loved that it can get wet, so you can play with it inside or outside. After playing with the toy inside, she asked if we could take it out to the garden and pool. So we did. She loved playing with it in the pool because the items were floating! She kept saying it was so awesome. I loved it because it does teach the process of planting a flower but also because my daughter played with it for hours. It's a great toy. My daughter loved most that it could all get wet and that it color-changed! I would recommend it! A couple of comments my daughter made : -It would be fun if the flowers were scented. -She wished it came with more than two flowers. -She wished the plant food container had something inside.

It gives all the instructions that are simple and easy for kids to understand and it's also fun. My son absolutely loves spraying the flowers and watching them change from white to colorful. I like that it provides seed packages with fake seeds, also provides fake plant food which gives it a more real feeling.
