Melissa & Doug Match and Roll Shape Sorter - Classic Wooden Toy

Paint started chipping off after a week and the pieces themselves are much smaller than I expected. In general, I didn’t feel comfortable with my one year old playing with it.

My kid has played in many ways. Great product.

My 2 year old loves this toy and plays with it daily. It has helped him learn shapes and colors.

If you’re looking for a shape sorter, this is the one. Love this match and roll shape sorter for ages 1-3 years old. Would have to say it’s also great for sitting up baby stage. Where they could pick up the shapes and put it in the sorter on the top opening since the red top piece opens up (with supervision of course). Also a plus with my little ones when crawling, encourages crawling after it as it can be rolled around the room. Use it as a learning tool with sorting, colors, shapes, and counting. Or even playing with the shapes as building or stacking blocks. Great toy to help encourage speech with your child. The possibilities with this sorter is endless. A must have piece to include.

Perfect toy for my crawling baby!

My son absolutely loves this toy! Lots of different shapes and colors to learn. I like that the top is secure and doesn’t get lost. My son had 2 other shape sorters prior and the top to get the shapes out slides off the toy easily and is easily misplaced. When the top goes missing, the shapes don’t stay in the box. This doesn’t happen with this shape sorter.

Hi, my son loves this toy but we lost a few blocks over time, is there a way to buy just the blocks or shapes for this toy???

It’s beautiful and a great concept, but it’s better for older toddlers or babies who aren’t big on putting things in their mouths. My baby can fit the shape blocks into her mouth completely so I am holding this toy back for when she’s older. Side note: ignore the 1 star reviews talking about formaldehyde. The toy is COMPLIANT to formaldehyde standards, and those reviewers misread that as “complaint.”

A classic and well made toy that has lasted us six years so far. Still gets played with regularly and will be on its third life with my five month old soon. Only a little bit of wear and tear on the paint job, but other than that, it’s still going strong. Would be great for a baby shower gift or Christmas. Love Melissa and Doug toys!

I absolutely love this shape sorter. My oldest daughter got it as a 1st birthday present, and she's still playing with it at age 4. My 6 month old is now playing with it too, and it's still in perfect condition, other than some minor wear around the edges of the shapes. Definitely a toy that will last for years!
