Got a variation of this book on sale and I am glad it was not full price. Scratches way too easily.

I bought this and some other Water Wow albums for young children who will be traveling by car. Water Wow albums are great because they can be left in the car, with no worry. Crayons might melt and markers might make stains on car seats, but Water Wow allows children to "color" with no mess. Add water to the pen and it is ready to go. Colors appear as the children get the pages wet. The best part is that once the pages are dry, the colors disappear and the pages are ready to color again.

I absolutely love these books! They are such a great size, they fit in my purse and keep my son busy for hours. However my son decided to chew on the back part of one of his water pens and now it's all mishapen. I wish they were made of a harder plastic so the kids couldn't chew them up. And my son scraped most of one of the pictures right off the board. I don't know what they use but it has a weird texture my son noticed and went ahead scraping it off. But I still love them for road trips, the waiting room at the Dr., Even grocery shopping, I let him sit in the cart and do one. And there's so many different ones to choose from! I could keep my son busy for a week with just a few different ones.

I really like it and my 3 year old son does well with it. The only problem we had was he presses the marker down to hard and it scratched the picture off. I wish the pen was designed in a way you couldn't scratch it. Maybe more of a thicker heavier brush on the end.

Great for taking along. Fits in my tote bag and is easy for child to handle. The only improvement I can think of is some type of cap for the brush so the water wouldn't leak out. Hard to get water in the small opening away from home and awkward to empty also.
