My almost 4 year old has a lot of fun with this puzzle. She can complete it by herself, but it’s not something she breezes right through. It takes her some effort. She is proud when she completes it by herself. It takes her about 10 minutes to do it by herself, but we dump it out and do it again like 3-5 times in a row. It’s fun to count the animals in the picture once you’ve put it together. Kind of like a hide and seek or eye spy.

My kids love puzzles and this one is especially nice because it is wooden and the pieces have numbers and gears and so much color to it. We love sitting at the table doing puzzles together. This is a favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my 3 year old and 5 1/2 year old found this toy a little frustrating and confusing. It doesn’t have any rhyme of reason. They enjoyed watching the gears spin but not more than that. They didn’t enjoy the search and find cause it involved moving the gear pieces.

Within a few minutes of playing, one of the pegs holding the gears snapped off. This made them unable to turn the gears on the puzzle anymore. It should be noted that I did not see the puzzle break, so I’m not sure how the peg was snapped off. Really cute concept despite it breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This puzzle is great for my three year old who is almost four, however there’s a few pieces that surround the gears that are very tricky for them to line up perfectly to get the gears to work. My toddler did get frustrated and I had to help her, but overall she was able to get most of the pieces and liked lining them up to the picture.

The wooden pieces are large enough that they are easy to grab and place for small hands. There is a completed picture below the pieces so they can see where the pieces should go and match the picture to the piece picture. She really loves turning the gears and making the animals spin

She is turning 4 in about a month and she loves putting together this puzzle and then playing with the gears that move. She can put it together all by herself but she also loves working together to put it together as well. I also love that it has the numbers 1-10 on it so that we can count them as well. It also is very colorful so we can practice colors too. This is such a great puzzle and I highly recommend.

I used it to label animals and numbers with my kid. It's good for his coordination to put the pieces together. The puzzle is simple with 24 pieces only. Overall a lovely addition to his toy box.

But , it didn’t take long for them to put it together . Not really a challenge for them both . So , it’s very colorful and exciting to start being that the wheels are animals . I love the number on the side also .

I love that the puzzle has numbers and then moving cog wheels when completed. It is so fun to see my daughters face light up when she completes it. The wooden board is durable and the picture is painted beautifully on the board which makes it easy for the kiddo to complete the puzzle on their own. This is the high quality product that I have come to expect from Melissa and Doug and it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend
