I have all Melissa and Doug stuff; kitchen, all accessories, etc. This table, however, I would not recommend—- Screws did not fit pre-drilled holes; should have returned but that’s a hassle

This table is so cute but like many other reviews - ours came damaged on the tabletop surface. It was one of my daughter’s big gifts for Christmas so we put it together anyways since she was excited but it is way too expensive for it to be damaged upon arrival. 0/10 on that.

This is the second Melissa and Doug furniture item I have been extremely disappointed in. In less than 2 hours use an entire leg has fallen off. Not just the screw has fallen out, but the threaded fastener that should be secured within the leg.

I loved this table and chairs set for my 2 yrold. We’ve had it for 1 day and she enjoyed sitting and reading her dinosaur books. However she banged a toy against the table and it has a small scratch now but she’s working on being gentle with her toys and new table set. Her dad says it was easy to put together It’s the perfect size, fitting nicely in the living room by her bookshelf

The chairs are so uncomfortable. The seat slopes down so it feels like your falling off the chair. Yes it's solid wood but it's constructed very weird, it doesn't feel very sturdy.

This is one of the best purchase I made for my kids - it’s so sturdy and good quality that even I sit on it sometimes to eat or play with my kids and I am over 200 pounds so you can imagine the quality - it’s easy to clean but I noticed some Stains don’t go easily but otherwise I recommend this 100%

We pulled this out of the box and started putting everything together, it seemed really nice and sturdy but both the chairs and the table have areas that are cracked and splintered. Too much work to take it back apart and pack it back up to exchange it. Just have to make sure the little kids don’t catch any of the splintered areas:(
