Q: Would desk and chair fit a five and six year old? Or would this set be too small?

Q: What are the actual dimensions of this desk and chair? The Melissa & Doug website have different dimensions for this same product.

A: Hi Alexandra! When assembled, here are the dimensions: Desk- Height 22", depth 16", width- 23 1/4" Chair- height-22 1/2 ( back of seat) height of seat- 12 3/8" depth- 12 1/2- width- 12 14" I hope this information is helpful.
