The origami paper included in this kit are colorful and bright and make the finished results perfect! My 6 year old grandson enjoys working on the projects. They are great for fine motor coordination and working on following instructions.
I would not buy this product again. It is too complicated.

I tried out this product before showing it to my granddaughter (age 6). The beginner things didn't look anything like what they were supposed to be. Folding was complicated. She lost interest try quickly.

My oldest son (5 y/o) had a great time picking the animals out that he wanted to make. What's great about this is that it grows with the child - he is not quite ready for the intermediate or advanced options, so those are options he will grow into.

My 7 year old daughter enjoyed this change of pace on the regular crafts we do. She was able to make a few herself. The instructions were straightforward and frustration free.

Grandsons age 5 and 7 have enjoyed working on these projects. Directions are great. After making a few of the animals with assistance, they are becoming independent with the beginner animals. Also, plastic storage slot for the printed origami papers keeps everything organised.
Good directions and a great variety of animals to make.

I also purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter. I thought it looked fun, and when I got it, I was pleased with the packaging. It looks like a fun way to learn if you might want to pursue orgami in the future, and just a fun project. My neighbor came by and I showed it to her. She's a kid at heart. She said, "I want one!!" So I ordered this item for her for her upcoming birthday.
