Q: How do you wash it? Can you put in washer or is it a hand wash item?

A: Hi, The Yellow Lab can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. No bleach. Lay flat to dry. Do not put it in the dryer. Best, Melissa & Doug Customer Care
