Ordered in 36x30 to match other pants I currently have. These run rather large and are very baggy in the leg area. I highly recommend to not order these online, try in store or you may have to return these like I will be doing.

Good chino for price point

For the price ($30) it is a good pant. However it runs a bit small in waist and the sizing variation of the colors are inconsistent. The black chinos are not straight at all. They are really tight in the thighs and butt area and only straight at the leg opening. The gray chinos are almost straight but a little less tighter than the black chinos. The best color is the tan and that fits like a true straight pant. Perfectly relaxed on the thighs and rear and comfortable leg opening. So I recommend the tan chinos if you want a true straight pant experience.

I have bought pants from Target before without any issues, so I felt confident ordering online. When they arrived, though, they were way too small. Even thought the label had the correct sizing, I could barely get one leg into them, and it was very obvious that they were several sizes too small. I expect some variation, but these were so small that i am sure they were mislabelled. So I went to the store and found a pair in a different color, and it was the same problem. I ended up returning the pair I purchased for a full refund.

After trying on many different jeans, I decided to try out chinos instead. These pants are probably the most comfortable I've ever worn! They're just roomy enough without being baggy and the sizing is accurate. And they're soft! They don't really shrink beyond what's expected, just make sure you follow the care instructions on the tag and they'll hold up fine! They have a little stretch, but not really in the waist so maybe try one size up in the waist if you normally wear stretchy pants. Overall, they're affordable, easy to get, and they look and feel great! I only wish they came in navy like the slim cut; hopefully eventually!
