Men's Men's Arctic Pro Insulated Boot

My wife bought me a pair of these boots 4 years ago, and I only wear them in the winter for light chores. First I thought they were great boots and the first winter was good. But the second winter I noticed there was some separation in spots around the top of the sole and the boot. It got worse and I had to glue these spots to keep using the boots. The third winter it was worse and I had to glue the boots again. I have just finished up the forth winter with them and again they are coming apart, even worse than before. I was thinking about throwing them out because I'm getting fed up with regluing them each year, but the wife told me how much they cost and I'm unsure if I should just throw them and buy new boots, or glue them up for another year. Other than the soles coming off they are still in decent shape with a good tread. If I do buy new it wont be Muck Boots.

Both boots are separating at the sole these boots are warm, however because of the separation issue I would not buy them or recommend them.

I am a woman who works in a professional outdoor setting in a Canadian territory. In this profession, I am expected to conduct a variety of work outdoors in the winter including critical operations such as search and rescue. I was disappointed to learn that the Arctic Pros are only offered in men’s sizing which is a challenging fit for female physiology and that the lowest temperature rating available to me in a similar-looking boot is the Arctic sports in a women’s fit. My male coworkers all highly suggest this boot and have adopted it as an unofficial uniform piece (brown) – I would like to have the opportunity to have the same warm experience and hope you would consider making this boot in a female fit in the future!

Hardly ever used them and they developed cracks in the top and sides in -30. Also, very hard to kick off when muddy as the back of heel is tapered and smooth.

I've had two pairs now. I use them often but not overly hard. The 2nd winter on each pair and they develop leaks. Main trouble spot is either side of the ankle, the rubber can't seem to handle the flexing. Other than their short life, these are great boots.

Artic pro Got these boots for cold weather and they are warm but the quality of the liner should be better for the cost. Wore the boots on cold days in snow mud but boots had very little wear and liner started sagging in the boot and got to point they was hard to get off and I mean a struggle the liner was coming out and made it a struggle to get off the liner was no longer stuck to inside of boot and got very uncomfortable to wear.Muck could care less they just want to get a sale and forget you or tell you it's not there fault They are expensive and should last longer than a year Not even worth the hassle to wear anymore So I wear my lacrosse boots that are just as warm and easy on and off Will no longer purchase muck Artic pro boots and maybe not even muck at all cost is to high and should last several years with no more than I used them.Thats my review ov them. I bought these a year ago almost exactly. I work around the farm, so they see use. Live in VT. The rubber started cracking already. Disappointing considering the pricetag.

I think I might have gotten a defective pair… my feet get wet after a few hours in the snow in -20 degree weather, subsequently making my feet extremely cold

I purchased these towards the end of last winter and stored them until recently . They have begun to leak and will the interior will get wet whilst walking through ankle high snow for a few minutes. There is absolutely no cold coverage on these either , wear 3 pairs of socks and you'll still have frozen feet on a -10C day. I am absolutely floored by how poor the quality is on these boots and I am writing this in the hopes that no one else will make my mistake. There are no cuts or burns or damage that would compromise these boots , they are just cheaply made.

Muck customer service was great and I had a pair of boots I got last Christmas that started to crack extremely bad less then 1 year of use. They sent me a new pair and that was really cool of them.. the second pair are doing the exact same thing. Going on 3 months of use and extreme cracking again. Also won't hold heat.. I'm wearing wool socks. Just isn't doing the trick.. I love muck. Used them for about 10 different pair so far growing up. But the Artic pro just isn't working out for me. Between the extreme cracking and not holding in heat. Wish I could give 5 stars like my summer boots by Muck. Am I missing something and need to moisturize these or what? They're cracking all the way through.

Finally decided that my pair of Kamik boots weren’t cutting it, and I needed something with a little more oomf behind it. I work in footwear so I’m picky about what I wear on my feet, and I went through three pairs of Bogs before I decided to try the Arctic Pros, and holy smokes am I glad I switched to the Muck. I liked the Bogs Workman 17, but the calf opening was just too large for my taste, as the Arctic Pro has a nice snug opening that doesn’t let in the cold as much. This boot has been super comfy for the cold Interior Alaskan winter, and adding in a thicker insole, plus an extra thick Darn Tough sock just makes the experience even better. The lugs on the outsole are solid, I only ever experienced traction issues on straight up ice, however it isn’t a Vibram Arctic Grip sole so, I don’t expect stellar wet ice traction. I plan to take these ice fishing this season and I don’t foresee any issues with this boot handling -30 - -40 temps on the lake. All in all, well worth the money I paid for these, and I expect a good life out of them.

This is my 3rd pair! I am a good test for these boots a they make my 14 hour farm work days warm, safe and alot more comfortable all winter long!

I wore these boots in -30 during some winter camping and couldn't have been happier. I retired my famous Dunlops when I discovered these boots. I will be ordering a lighter pair for the fall, very comfortable. Wish I discovered these boots years ago! Thank you Muck!

I’ve had them for several years and other than the fact that they are made in China they have been a good hunting/winter boot. A little stiff so a bit shorter would be nice. The made in China part is what will keep me from buying them again.

Two snowstorms, nightly walks, 0-50 degrees tested. I love these boots. I've worn them barefoot in 0-degree weather (not that it's recommended) and have found that my feet stay warm. I've had them for 2-3 months so far and haven't found anything I really dislike about them. They aren't driving friendly--it does take some getting used to due to the height and rubber. They also aren't made for ice, you'll still need ice attachments to prevent slipping. My feet do sweat if I'm wearing winter socks in temps 30 degrees or above. I know I bought them for the snow but they're just comfy to wear. May have to see if there's a slip-in boot with the comfort but made for warmer climates.

I have had these boots for about 5 years and they have been exceptional in every aspect. They have always kept my feet warm and dry and great traction hope the quality continues on for a better one coming up

I wear these on a daily basis in -30C or colder. They are warm and good grip but the materials and build lack quality. I am into my 4th month and already the boots are falling apart. The pull-tab has come off on one boot already, the rear heal is delaminating from the sole and parts of the rubber around the sole are tearing loose. Considering these are for harsh environments I was expecting more, at least two winters. Disappointed in the lack of quality from a highly rated & reviewed product. Be sure to consider the quality of materials if you will be wearing these often or in harsh environments.

do not wear when temps are below 50. my feet have never gotten cold, until wearing these boots. i had to go back to my lace up lacrosse boots. very comfortable. just not warm at all. i only use them to track deer. good for that.

Until they make them custom-fit these are about as good as it gets. Lookimg forward to warm toes this winter!
