The Durango® Maverick XP™ Steel Toe Ventilated Pull-On Western Work Boot comes with all the bells and whistles that you need for even the toughest days. This boot is made of full-grain leather with a ventilated shaft to promote maximum air flow, a high abrasion heel counter and with a classic western square toe. The inside of this boot has the Durango X-Treme Comfort removable PU footbed with memory foam and the Durango® X-Pand System™ with a hidden gore expansion for easy on and off. The midsole is dual-density for better shock absorbsion, and the outsole is a multi-durometer rubber for high impact durability. To top it all off, this boot also meets ASTM F2413 Protective Toe Classification and ASTM F2413 Electrial Hazard Standards.

I haven't had these boots too long but these have got to be the most comfortable thing I've had on my feet in a very long time....I wear a 15W it's hard to find suitable foot wear in any style...I will buy these again when I need to buy some more...

Bought about a year ago and have been wearing them a lot since then there great boots very comfortable and I did a 10 mile hike in Tennessee and the souls never came off and we’re very durable. All around great boots

Ordered this boot in June 2019. A couple weeks of use the lining began to pull out and made it impossible to remove boot without the use of a shoehorn. Replaced under warranty. The replacement boots had the same issue a couple weeks later as well. I liked the boots and decided to deal with it. The boots saw 6 months of use in 2019. I was out of Work until July 2020. 6 months use in 2020 and the boots are no longer wearable. The bottom of the boot has separated from the sole. If these boots were to be made with higher quality control standards I could easily of gotten another 1-1.5 years use out of them as the tread has held up quite well. Durango boots has let their quality slide in the last few years.

I bought these waterproof boots about 6 months ago, turns out they are not waterproof at all. They are pretty comfortable for working in all day, also did hold up pretty well. I do have to crawl on diamond plate which will destroy the toes on boots, these still look good. But the insides of the boots are trashed, i can hardly take my left boot off because they are so torn up, and grab on my foot when removing. I am not bashing durango because i love them and have about 10 pairs. I hate to say it but I wont buy another pair of durangos if I have the same experience again. Do yourself a favor and choose another boots.

I got a pair for work because my last pair lasted so long (about 9 months) so I figured I would try the new ones with all the features. I was hopeful and the 3 months it took to get them was unbearable but I finally got them. They were tight at first but once broke in the expand system really works. They do feel lighter than my other steel toe boots and get great traction. The only problem I have had with them is the waterproofing did not last at all. I will reach out to customer services to see what they will do, and write another review.
