The old American boots were great, then you moved offshore and they sucked, these new boots seem much better now, time will tell....They are very comfortable, seem to run a little small so go up a size, a bit of a nuisance to get on because of the "floppy" tops but that helps make them comfortable, maybe consider a wide version....

Boot was very difficult for me to put on due to a narrow diameter at the ankle. However, once foot is in, the boot it is comfortable and waterproof.

I just bought this pair of boots to replace my previous pair of 12 inch legacy boots which lasted for several years and I’m a farmer who wears boots a lot. - I believe in buying quality footwear and have spent good money on boots over the years. Nothing has come close to these xtra tuff boots for both comfort and durability (most previous brands have lasted 12-18 months before wearing out). I prefer the shorter boot -12” is great - easy to slip into yet holds snug around the ankles.

Awesome boots. Had a pair of 16” classic boots for 6 years and wore them almost every day for barn chores. Eventually cut them down to 12” and then 6” as the lining began to peel off. Got these 12” boots and love them. Still have the trimmed down originals though

I have been wearing Muck boots (another Rocky Brand) for several years but all have failed within a year with splits in the outer boot and heal falling off. So decided to try Xtratuf. Like the boot overall but don’t like the flimsy upper boot. Makes it hard to slip it own without effort.

I am a big fan of the products in the Xtratuff line. They work perfectly and I don’t worry about feet getting wet in the rain or walking through a shallow stream. I am also confident I won’t be slipping walking on a wet surface on a boat or any location honestly. I would definitely purchase again and recommend others do the same.

The boots appeared to be well-made, and the price was right, but I had problems with one boot leaking something from the white cord that exits the back of the heel after I cleaned and dried the boots. It was the first time I wore the boots. I feared it was what I had been standing in all afternoon (sewage). It appeared the boots had soaked up moisture through that cord, and then it drained back out afterwards. The boot did not leak inside to my foot. I returned the boots. The return process was simple and easy.
