The Arctic Pro by Muck boots will keep feet warm outdoors. These 17-inch waterproof and insulated professional pull-on hunting boots feature technology to keep your feet warm in extreme frigid temperatures. These boots feature fleece linings, as well as 2mm thermal foam underlays in the instep area for additional warmth, along with an 8mm CR-flex-foam booties with four-way stretch nylon that is waterproof, lightweight and flexible.EVA molded midsoles and contoured footbeds provide comfort, along with stretch-fit topline bindings to keep warmth in and cold out. Bob-tracker molded outsoles are rugged, aggressive and durable for maximum protection and stability, and a wrap-up, reinforced bumper adds toe protection. Double reinforcements on the instep, heel and Achilles add reinforcement for added durability. My Son and I both have these Artic Pro boots and love them! My Son also has a pair of the cool boots for summer fishing. The fit is same as my other shoes. Wish they were not made in China.

It was 19* and I was bundled up. Because I was on a ridge and not moving (I was elk hunting) my hands, face and legs were still getting cold. However, my feet were wrapped in the warmth of my new Muck boots. I got the Arctic Mucks and am very happy with them. If you would make a Arctic Muck suit, I would buy that too.

I am a woman who works in a professional outdoor setting in a Canadian territory. In this profession, I am expected to conduct a variety of work outdoors in the winter including critical operations such as search and rescue. I was disappointed to learn that the Arctic Pros are only offered in men’s sizing which is a challenging fit for female physiology and that the lowest temperature rating available to me in a similar-looking boot is the Arctic sports in a women’s fit. My male coworkers all highly suggest this boot and have adopted it as an unofficial uniform piece (brown) – I would like to have the opportunity to have the same warm experience and hope you would consider making this boot in a female fit in the future!

Nice warm boot. My original pair lasted 3 years of heavy use at 10k feet, freezing conditions and heavy snow and ice. It seems they have made an adjustment to the foot area with a softer rubber. Hopefully this increases the durability as well as comfort.

i live in the coldest wettest conditions possible in norther minnesota. i hike with my dog every day. i tried many boots and they all had specific flaws; these are as close to perfect as you can get for a perfect cold weather completely water proof boot. spent hours in subzero temperatures and these boots felt warm the entire time. i experimented with various sockets etc, these boots have no lacing system so fit and comfort are subjective to each user. i have gotten mine to feel extremely comfortable. the sole on the arctic pros isn’t too ice friendly, i added traction cleats that work excellently.

Cracks in extreme cold

Hardly ever used them and they developed cracks in the top and sides in -30. Also, very hard to kick off when muddy as the back of heel is tapered and smooth.

We recommend storing your boots at room temperature and avoiding letting dry in direct sunlight or next to any extreme heat (fireplace or furnace) this will make the rubber weaker and end up cracking.
