The Apex Pro by Muck Boots is built for high endurance cool and cold weather pursuits or treks that require the performance of an agile boot, but with excellent traction. Reaching 15-inches in height, this pull-on boot, in Mossy Oak camo, is completely waterproof with strategically placed rubber overlays that provide additional protection along the shin and forefoot without adding unnecessary weight. The interior is fully lined with a 4mm CR Flex Foam Neoprene, this boot will keep you warm. A breathable mesh lining facilitates air circulation. A dual density footbed treated BioDEWIX™ antimicrobial and having a topcover with NZYM™ mitigates odor and supplies moisture management. Underfoot a Vibram Arctic Grip All-Terrain outsole with Vibram XS Trek Evo compound and New Traction Lug Technology provides superior grip no matter the season and advanced traction on all terrain, including, but not limited to wet ice, snow, mixed/loose surfaces and hard pack. We bought these boots on the recommendation of my husband. He stated he had similar ones at work. He was impressed with them. We bought them for our son who wore them for the first time snow tubing. Our son was impressed and said his feet stayed warm and dry!

I have to say that I was a little leery based on some of the reviews that I read on these, but decided to give them a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. I've got pretty fussy feet and these were totally comfortable from the first time wearing them. They are warm as well, I spend a fair amount of time walking in the snow with my dogs. The fit I would say is true to size. Very nice!

Bought this boot thanksgiving weekend and received it 2 weeks later. My husband has only worn these boots off and on while hunting over the past 3 weeks and the insoles have already fallen apart. I have tried calling and email the company with no success!!

I made this purchase from their website. I ordered a size 10 as I have owned 3 other pairs of Muck Company boots and they were all good. They are super tight on the instep of the foot while still being long enough for my foot not to touch the toe. They are that tight my foot will go numb from it if just sitting. I don't know if they are made to stretch, but mine did not. If I go up a size they will be too long. Buy them from a store before purchasing. I've never required 1/2 sizes or anything outside the norm. I'm sure they are good boots if you can get them to fit.

Recently bought theses boots. Love them, but outside rubber near toe opened up slightly. So far not leaking. Would give 5 stars if they will last minimum one year.

I usually wear a 9.5 so i ordered a 10 thinking i might want thicker soxs,but the 10 are so tight they accualy gave me a blister so because i wore them i probably cant return them!! Alto i might say they are pretty worm!!

These boots fit me well. My feet are little wide and a little flat and usually do not fit in Muck Boots well. These boots seem well built, they have a comfortable foot bed, they are comfortable to walk in, they have great traction, they look good and they are warm. With a pair of US wool socks I felt my feet were a bit warm sitting in a blind in the 40's.

These boots do not keep your feet warm, it was 15°F (well within the range of these boots) and with wool socks and toe warmers, my feet were still freezing. Also, I received these boots last Wednesday, and have worn them twice (Thursday and Friday). The insole is already deteriorated. Very poor quality. Will be trying to return them today. 2 stars because they are comfortable on the feet and have good traction.

3rd pair of Mucks, these are a different beast from my other more "work" oriented boots. These are like a sneaker married a boot. So exactly what I was hoping for as I am bow hunter and hike in 3-4 miles to my stands. Excellent traction, insulation is moderate and thats what I wanted. Not an arctic cold type boot but good for my prime seasons in PA and NY. Would be too hot for warmer weather. My foot feals locked in and I like that. I wear darn tough wool socks and they are on thinner side. Sock selection very important, cant be a thick sock. You are spending the money on this boot so dont skimp on your sock. Its a system!
