The system allows air to circulate in, but it keeps water out. Your feet stay dry, guaranteed.It's hard to beat the warmth provided with the Blizzard Stalker. You'll be prepared for any trek through the snow and subzero temperatures because your feet will be wrapped in 1200g of Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation.This boot has great traction and helps you grip the terrain with a multi-directional Blizzard outsole.The Blizzard Stalker also is one tough boot. The split suede with 900 denier high-abrasion textile waterproof upper resists tears that the environment might try to throw at you and provides additional waterproofing.Inside, the boot continues to perform. It provides comfort and stability with a removable mesh PU footbed with TPU heel stabilizer. It has a padded molded foam collar with an extended tongue, as well as a durable rubber vamp.

I have worn Rocky boots for years, until they started to make a cheaper boot by putting plastic eyelets at the top of the boot, which break off. I'm not saying the boots aren't warm, but if you can't lace them, what good are they !

Warm boots perfect for snow

I bought these a month ago and have used them to hike in the Australian Alps in heavy snow and in a blizzard on a snowmobile. They are extremely warm and either run larger (when compared to other Rockys), or leave room for thicker socks which definitely aren't required. Despite being in knee deep snow at times, my feet didn't get wet. They are relatively heavy so I wouldn't use them for a normal hike in cold conditions, but would reserve them for very cold weather in wet or snow conditions.

It's sad that they no longer make a Women's Rocky Blizzard Stalker- except for hunting. I don't hunt, but live in coldest place in the contential US. My 2002 Women's Blizzard Stalker's heel blew out, so I ordered to smallest men's size. It's TOO Big for my foot and it swims around. I just want to be warm- but not wearing CAMO.

Bought these 14 mos ago and don't use them much. I got them to replace my 25 year old pair of Rockies. Yesterday I noticed my one foot was getting wet when walked in a little water. I looked at the top part of the boot by my toes and saw that an inch of the stitching had come undone. I bought these boots because my last pair lasted so long but now they must be poorly made because these are junk! I won't buy another pair of Rockies

Bought this boot for winter cattle chores. Wow what a disappointment!! Reviews said to get 1/2 size bigger, so I did and way too big. Talked with a service rep and since I stood on the sidewalk I couldn't return them. Most clumsy boot I've ever had. Might have to leave the end gate open on pickup and with some luck they will be gone. Now off to the danner boot web page!!

Bought these to replace a similar pair of Rocky boots I bought 10 years ago. If these last half as long as my old pair, they'll bury me in them. I won't be able to give a better review until November. These will be worn in Michigan during the deer gun season. I'd be glad to share photos of the new pair, as well as the old pair. Thanks guys

I bought these a little while back because I had to go to the temporary land of snow and fridged temperatures called Montana. They performed admirably and kept my feet warm and steady the whole time I was there. About the only down side is in 60deg weather they are insulated enough to make your feet sweat. But that's the price of good insulation.

I bought a pair of Rocky 1200G boots for deer hunting years ago but ended up wearing them for all my winter activities including hiking. Best boots I have ever owned. They finally started to separate at the toe so needed a new pair. The new ones are almost identical to the previous pair and very very comfortable.

I bought them for snowmobiling in Upper Michigan and was not disappointed. The temp ranged from -10F to 10F and I only wore a single pair of wool socks. My feet normally get cold but not in these guys. Size? I normally wear a size 12 and ordered a 12 plus a 13 to see the size difference. The 12's were right on the money. These things are great!
