Great boot, not very durable for industry I’m in

I work in the oil and gas industry,(Hydraulic Fracturing) and I’ve been buying the boots for the past 5 years. Never fails the sole on the inside of the boot gives out between 5-7 months. I prioritize by feet so despite that, I will continue to buy a new pair every few months because I haven’t found a better work boot for the job I do. It’s comfortable and I’ve had 300 pounds of iron dropped on my toes so I know is safe and you can’t beat the traction it provides out here.

They’re good boots, do the job very well and good material. I use it for work every day and it’s already peeling off on the steel toes and also it would be nice it comes anti-slip. Still keep buying them! I already own 3 pairs.

I have never had a pair of shoes do what these military boots have done. I'm not infantry. I walk to and from work and the DFAC and there is a hole the size of a quarter adjacent to the steel toe and the soul is coming apart in the front and the back. was using the latrine and looked down as seen my sock. absolutely un acceptable. there is a pinhole developing on the other boot in the same location.
Comfortable but not lasting

Doesn’t work well in wet terrain, the leather of the boot wear and tear easy without any real hard abuse. My basics boot lasted me 8 years and leather stayed together and only wear in the sole.

I purchased these 4 years ago. 4!!! With the exception of Sundays there boot were worn almost daily and have seen I don't know how many hundreds if not thousands of miles. I was hesitant of the price at first but loved the style and had to have steel toes for work. The bad mother fkrs didn't start to really breakdown until mid year 3, the heel cup fabric and plastic started to come apart and the cushion above your toes started wearing through. I cant tell you how comfortable these are even after a 10-12 hour shift. The breathability, drying, the quality of the materials used. It wasn't until this year I bought another pair of Rocky's, these have a side zip, so I figured sweet; less tying. NO these zip side ones are garbage and started coming apart a few months after buying them. They are in no way on the same level of quality as the S2V. I will be repurchasing the S2V Steel Toes now.
Worthy Investment

Don't bother ordering online

Ordered the boot, with overnight delivery, was given a date a week out for delivery. It is the day before and the chose now to inform me that theu were going to be 3 weeks behind. If I were to order the same pair that day the website advertised it would ship on Oct 4, but they told me the 11th. Customer service told me the website was wrong and they already knew that if I ordered today I would be informed the order was behind from that date. This is pathetic. Of you can't fulfill your orders, dont sell the boots. People have to depend on you and you openly lie. And don't think I dont know that you had the boots, you just oversold, and instead of being honest you lied to me about your manufacturing not doing their part. Tells me that I'm not prioritized as a customer and I won't be doing any more business with you.

I've been wearing one pair for over a year now. Extremely comfortable compared to my Bellvilles. Those are the only boots my size other than these. I need to order a new pair because a hole wore into the heel, the sole is starting to separate. And the squeaking, they have been squeaking with every step out of the box.
Runs small and its very stiff..

These boots are good quality all in all however, they run a bit small so I'd recommend a half size up. They're very stiff so be expecting to not stretch into or breaking them in, its just not happening especially with the hard wall towards the back heel. Overall, the boot fit nicely in the front with ample amount of toe room except that hard heel linning that digs in. I get a lot of rubbing causing blisters and they're unbarable with the 14 plus hours of constant walking everday in the Navy.
Very Comfortable.

I bought these about 7 months and they were outstanding. They are incredibly comfortable and work well on the flightline. They have a good amount of grip which helps with any spills and walking on aircraft. My one complaint is after just 7 months the heel tore apart. However I did order a new pair hoping they'll hold up better. Overall good boots, work well with OCPs, in hot or cold weather.

I am on my third pair of these boots in two years. I wear them everyday working on military equipment and they last about six months before they start falling apart. The good thing is rocky will replace them with in a year of buying them. Love the way they feel just wish they would hold up better.

Been wearing these for about a month and they are infinitely more comfortable. Will require more cleaning/ water proofing than leather, but it is absolutely worth it.

First, I bought a pair of Rocky S2V "104" boots. But they gave me blisters on the back of my ankles, due to lumps at seam on inside of the boot. Then, I bought a pair of Rocky RKC053 boots. They are comfortable and I do not have any problems with them.

I bought these for a deployment and they are the only pair of boots I brought with me. Every where I walk indoors I hear a squeeking sound...like squidward walking down the hall. You can forget about the element of surprise as all will hear you coming 50-100' away. Boots are comfortable.

I bought these due to the Air Force changing uniforms yet again...and my 11 year old pair wore a hole in the heel. To make them easier to use and more comfortable I added some elastic quick laces from Amazon.
