Men's Timex Classic Digital Expansion Band Watch - Gold T786779J

Fits swell!! Real Basic. Need to re-purchase.... lol

My first issue with the watch is that it states Men's Watch. It is smaller than most men's watches today. I'm a senior and can read the time and date, but the day is so small it takes a magnafing glass to read it. I've had the watch about nine months and the gold on the face is flacking off. The gold on the band is mostly gone. At my age i'm not that active to have this happening to the watch. It's one year warranty clearly state that it covers only the inside components and you may have to pay for shipping to do that. In hindsight I should have taken it back to Target with their generious 90 day return policy.

ive been that same watch for 20 years it does pretty good with water as i was a dishwasher at a couple of places the one i have now was getting wet all the time before covid 19 cost me my job

I bought my first Timex Classic Digital many years ago at Target. It lasted many years bringing me happy satisfaction. First the nightlight burned out, but that didn't bother me for a few more years, wearing it every day. I did wear it by accident in the show and may have dropped it in water once or twice. I had the battery replaced several times and kept the settings in my files and was able to reset it. The gold flex band always kept looking first class. When the watch finally gave out, I went back to Target and could not find a duplicate or one that looked liked it, I bought a standard looking watch but could not monthly set its day or month manually and finally forfeited it's use. I used the Timex Digital Classic band on it for years until it broke and I couldn't repair it. I then searched for a new watch on the Target website for the first time and found the digital classic at the bottom of the list looking exactly like my original watch for a few dollars more than my original price. I hesitated buying it thinking my cellphone timer would be my watch, but it was never able to see the time or date quick enough. I was told the Classic Digital was not available locally and would take a week to be delivered and it would cost $10 more for shipping and handling. I agreed. The watch arrived a day earlier than what UPS had predicted. It had instructions to download from the Timex Classic Digital to set. I easily followed instructions and my newest watch was set with right time and date and I've been happy and very satisfied....

I've been getting this same watch for years, it's a great watch. My only complaint this time is that the watchband is too small for my wrist.

Love this watch. Convenient and stylish. Had to issue with water, tarnish etc. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a vintage-looking watch to wear for fashion purposes!

This is an excellent product. Love the ability to light the dial. Bought the gold and a silver this time. Glad I can still get the style online. Hope Timex continues to made this model. I've owned several of them.. The price is so reasonable that I have been able to wear this product without worry of scratching or breaking during work projects...I can always buy another without breaking the bank. Two thumbs up to Timex!!

Just bought ... Oct 2018. This is the same watch I had 2 years ago & I love it. Had to buy again since I lost (misplaced?) it. Elegant, light weight, nice digital display. Everything one may want for a daily use versatile watch. I have small wrist - so I had to get the flexible band shortened. Did the same thing on last watch also. You can get the band adjusted at a jewelry shop or at the small watch/jewelry kiosks on the mall. Someone mentioned that day of week display is a bit small & I agree. But one can easily know the day from its position. Hope Timex will fix this – there is enough room to make the font a bit larger. Highly recommend for an inexpensive day to day use watch.

I'm glad to have found this exact style for my friend It is the only one he uses I was worried that the color would not look natural But it is just perfect It was immediately used It is light in weight which is great Not bulky. Love the digital, easy to read Loved the look and feel of it and I hope they do not discontinue this style as I know I will need to purchase again It was also shipped immediately just in time for the holidays thank you

Great watch. This item replaced a near identical watch I bought in the 90's.

Nice watch. My only complaint is that the day of the week is so small it's hard to see. Also watchband small. Most watches with this type of band are too large for my husband. This one is too small.

I am over 70. I have purchase this watch for long as it has been made. I have not had to purchase to many. Thank you for having it.

Sick watch, but the band is fixed. For me, this means it's too big. I will have to take it to a watch shop or something to make it a little smaller. It looks rad though, I love it.

I have had at least 10 of these watches through the years. There are inexpensive when on sale and look great. Recommend to any man that wants an attractive digital watch. I got mine in goldtone but also comes in silver.
