    I’ll say that these boots were recommended by my son who lives in Fairbanks Alaska, unfortunately I ordered the wrong ones and had to send them back, I will be ordering the correct ones soon so this is the extent of my review but knowing the weather in Fairbanks and being strongly encouraged by my son and also his friend who lives there, I’m quite sure that these boots will do just fine wherever I go and especially when visiting in Fairbanks in the winter months.

    Boot appeared to be made with inner liner for a larger size. The inner part did not fit and was crudely hacked off where it extended beyond the outer shell. The extra material on the inner liner extended as much as 1cm past the weld point running down the back of the calf, leaving an unglued flap inside the boot. Foot bed was about 2 sizes too large and would not fit and lie flat. Honestly, it looks like whoever made the boot just doesn't care. The defects were clear and obvious and I mean "square peg, round hole" obvious. There is NO WAY this boot could have passed an inspection so I assume there is no quality control going on at your factory.

    Simply the best boots. Comfortable for daily wear and dependable always. My partner and I wear these every day in the winter months in the snow and I wear them for field work when the water is shallow enough to not warrant putting my waders on. Perfect for every occasion (and I often get compliments on my Salmon Sister design when I have the tops rolled down).     I have owned xtratuff boots for years but always the 12" this time I wanted the taller version for boat launches. I am pleased with them. That 3 inches keeps the water out without walking tip toed. I get several seasons out of my boots now since I am a recreational fisherman. Apparently you can't comment on shipping issues here or your review will not be posted.
