My daughter was super excited to get this and insisted on trying out the color change immediately. Well, it was SUPER disappointing. We first tried cold water for 2 minutes and nothing happened, so we tried warm water for 2 minutes and again nothing. We went back and read the directions and it said it may take awhile, so we did FIL water again and let it sit. After about 5 minutes, the tale started changing to a very light tint of pink so we thought it was working, but it never got any darker. It did not change color, it just had a super light hint of pink. My daughter lost interest and the toy was a bust.

The tails are so poorly made. My gentle daughter broke it trying to the jacket off. Then we popped it back, she played again then the whole tail popped off.

I was so blown away with the features of this doll. The biggest feature of all was the mermaid tail color change when you submerge the doll in water. I absolutely love the color stripes on her tail the details are outstanding. I also loved that she can stand on her own in certain positions. Overall she is completely glamorous with all her beautiful accessories and she is truly one of a kind. I highly recommend this.

She had to take her clothes and jewelry off and then put everything back on. It is fantastic that it has jointed elbows and wrists because she can get her shirt and jacket back on all by herself. She has a lot of jewelry with her. She has earrings, a necklace, and two arm bands. They can all be removed and put back on. My granddaughter has played with her for hours and hours. This doll has really nice hair. It doesn't tangle like a Barbie doll does. I would recommend this doll for any girl who still plays with dolls.

Now she always wants to take a bath and stays in the tub for a long time playing with it.We have to force her to get out of the tub, where before we had to force her to get in the tub to take a bath.

I was totally surprised at the size of the doll and how beautiful the doll looked. Her hair and tail changes colors depending on the temperature, and if you bend her tail she can stand on her own. She is fashionably dressed with jewelry and sun glasses. I know my Granddaughter will love this in the pool this year. I'm old but I could play with it for a while.
