This would get five stars except for the way it was shipped. One leg was deliberately bent to fit into the box. (Photo included) Sturdy, great basic pure white shelf. Now I have to make a trip to the store to return it.

I got a number of these to create tiered shelves for my son's vast Lego collection. I think they work well for this and seem to be stable so far. I think they are a bit pricey for what you get. I also wish they came in more color options, at least a black option. They are easy to set up as there is not set up due to the fact that they can't collapse.

The shelves weren’t great quality. They were already scratched when they arrived in the box so the lacquer was cheap. But they were reasonably priced, and I was too tired to shop around more, so I did keep them. They seem reasonably sturdy.

This is very sturdy metal. The legs do not fold in which makes it more stable because, yes, they are made to be stacked. I don’t recall if the description indicates the weight capacity per shelf so don’t know if it’s advisable to stack more than two, but I have two stacked and they’re very stable.
