Q: Does this kill viruses as well? Like cold and flu?
A: Yes, when used as directed, Microban initially kills 99.9% of bacteria and cold and flu viruses.* *When used as directed, Microban 24 is effective against bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus & Enterobacter aerogenes) and the below viruses within 5 minutes. Microban 24 does not provide 24-hour residual protection against viruses. The Sanitizing Spray kills viruses that cause common colds and the flu, including Human Coronavirus, Influenza A H1N1, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus. The Bathroom Cleaner kills viruses that cause common colds and the flu, including Rhinovirus type 39, Influenza A H1N1, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus. The Multi-purpose Cleaner kills viruses that cause common colds and the flu, including Human Coronavirus, Influenza A H1N1, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus.

submitted bySamsungman - 5 years agoA: It is said to be even better than lysol. See lysol kills viruses and bacteria but once you start touching different surfaces, you have to spay it down again. With Microban, you spray it once and for 24 hours it keeps killing whatever is on surface you have cleaned it with.

Q: Is this product safe to sanitize toys in a pediatric clinic?
A: Microban 24 is designed for non-kitchen surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, bathroom counters, and other high-touch areas in your home in need of 24-hour long-lasting bacterial protection. We do not recommend use on toys that children may put in their mouths.

Q: How long does it take for sanitization?
A: To achieve 24-hour sanitization, spray any Microban 24 product 6-8" from the non-porous non-food contact surface until thoroughly wet. Allow to air dry without wiping. Reapply if the surface is scrubbed.

Q: Will this eliminate odors? My tenant just moved out and the whole apartment smells like fish!

Q: Will this product help prevent cats from urinating on the floor and rugs? I've learned that cats do not like citrus smells and it helps with preventing just that.

Q: can this product be applied to bed covers, and fabric?
