Midea 10,000 BTU SmartCool Window Air Conditioner with WiFi and Voice Control, White

So far I'm happy with everything about this machine, except it did not fit in my 23" window, at all. That meant moving it to my largest window, which means no window fan for that is used for 90% of summer days. Also it's kind of load on auto.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one compact yet powerful window ac unit. It is a lot easier to install with two people. The installation was easy. The digital features make it more modern and cool looking. You can control the the ac with an app on your phone. We are still trying to trouble shoot on the app connecting to ac unit. Once the temperature is set, the unit will maintain that temperature. It will shut off once temperature is achieved and turn back on when it needs make room cooler. This is very energy efficient. We are very happy with this ac unit.

Our kids rooms and a playroom are upstairs and it gets quite warm up there. We received the Midea 10,000 BTUSmartCool Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control. We thought this could be the extra boost of cool air we need to keep the upstairs cooled in the summer. We installed it in the playroom which is in the center room of the house. I like that you can control it via the smart phone MideaAir app. And it also has a remote control for easy use as well. It does offer wifi and voice control via Alexa or Google Home but we have not used that feature yet. Installation was pretty easy with the installation kit that was provided. The directions were easy to follow. It's relatively quiet and cooled the room very quickly. The features are great and I don't think it's missing anything - at least for our needs. I think this was just what we needed to solve our upstairs air flow needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had some very warm days earlier this summer and I could not wait to get this AC unit installed to give us cooler sleeping nights when the heat returned. Although we live in the SF Bay Area and it does not get SUPER warm, it can get up there during the summer and into the early fall so we are now ready. Having this unit WiFi enabled so that we can enable it to turn on a little before we get home is really nice. We installed it in our living room (took about an hour or so) which has the largest area and it works really fast and without a whole lot of noise to where it's distracting. I am really impressed and thankful that we now have AC for any time the evenings have warm air without any movement.

This unit has the "usual" AC unit features like different fan and cooling speeds and a remote control, but it also has AMAZING features like that you can use your mobile phone to control it or you can even enable Alexa to help out! These are the things that set this unit apart from the others. Technology is amazing. You won't be disappointed in your purchase of this unit. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Midea 10,00 BTU SmartCool Window Air Conditioner in our 400 square foot room while it was 98 degrees F outside. The room was a garage that has been converted into a bedroom. Even though this room does not have great insulation, we set the unit on high and the temperature on 62 (the lowest available) and it cooled the room down nicely in less than 30 minutes. In addition to it quickly cooling the room, I was so pleased that it was quieter than the 12,000 BTU unit that it replaced. The installation of the AC went smoothly. The directions were complete and easy to follow. There were some small gaps between the unit and the curtains, but we were able to use the provided vinyl tape to seal things completely. The remote control was nice but we were not successful getting the app installed due to it's size.

Let's face it, a southern Louisiana Summer is HOT and i will take all of the extra cool i can get. I have been very pleased with this product in respect to ease of installation and ease of use. Also the output of cool air does not disappoint and the wifi and voice control features are a bonus to easily change the temp as needed.

My family is enjoying the great tempature it keeps in our home and with the smart features we don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it on when we go out anymore, we can do that while we are out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very easy window air conditioner to install. My husband had it in, hooked up, and cooling down within a half an hour. It cools off our very large den real fast. We only have a swamp cooler here in AZ and sometimes they don't work so well, and with his window air conditioner, it stays so nice and comfortable. This cooler has many features. You can control it with a remote control, the smartphone app, or voice control with your Alexa. We have been mainly using the app or remote. It is an Energy star saver, which is a big plus for us here in the desert. We really like how we can turn it up or down with the remote. We spend a lot of time in this room, and even more with this air conditioner which makes it more comfortable.

Getting a prober seal on the window is a challenge but that seems normal. Cools well, haven't gotten our first bill yet so not sure on the electricity but it keeps us cool.

A bit time consuming with install and then connecting to wifi etc. Keeps my big living room and kitchen cold. The remote works great especially for those lazy days!! I would recommend this AC!

I was able to install the unit in about under an hour. The manual shows that this company cares about the small details. The Unit itself performs great - it is low noise and vibration. The controls are very easy to understand and connecting it to WiFi was a cinch. I love controlling the unit with my phone and Alexa smart speaker. The unit is small & compact -especially for the rated 10k BTU. I am really happy with this air conditioner and would highly recommend to everyone looking for a window unit!

I have a large living room, more long than wide. And the Midea cooled it down in less than 20 minutes. I love all the features and the filter is super easy to remove and clean. It can be controlled from the unit itself, with the remote, and you can download an app and control it from your phone! With the app, I can turn it on when I'm heading home from the store, work, etc. and let it start cooking things down before I come home. It is also voice controlled which is even better when I'm laying on the couch and getting too hot or too cold and need to adjust it without getting up. It has multiple fan speeds and settings to find just what you need. It really is an amazing air conditioner!

Not only can you use the buttons on the front panel itself to adjust the temperature you want the room to be but also it can be done by remote control. We downloaded an app in which you can turn it on/off while away from home in which we just went to the beach and turned it on as we were headed home and the house was cool when we arrived home. There is a sleep mode mode you can set or even a fan mode so many different options. This is the perfect window unit.
