The feelings messages she tried to convey were touching.. the execution was not. I don’t mean to be rude but it was really bad and I’m usually into this kinda thing 😭😭 save yo money you can lookup better poetry for free online. Some pages literally have one sentence and it’s trying too hard to be edgy..

Christmas gift for my wife!

4 out of 5 stars
Alec - 1 year ago
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, they’re been after this book for a while, just never pulled the trigger on it. So, I decided to grab it while Christmas shopping, so I could wrap it under the tree! I’m sure they will love it, but I can’t say for sure at the moment since it’s not Christmas yet! But, as another review stated, the 20% off sticker Target stuck to the front of the book was uncalled for. It was almost impossible to get off without ruining the book cover, somehow I managed but it took longer than it should’ve! There’s no reason to put that sticker on the book, there has to be another option for letting buyers know it’s 20% off. Or, maybe find another sticker type that might be safer on a book that’s easier to remove. Anyways, my wife really enjoys poetry so here’s to hoping this book is a hit!

I think this book is little overhyped, but it does look cute as a decor piece since it is black and white so I will hang onto it for awhile.

this is a terrible representation of poetry. i understand the power that writing has towards trauma healing…but this was a slap in the face for someone who has experienced SA. my experience is not an aesthetic. there is absolutely no talent in this writing. you are left empty with no thought or emotion to ponder. don’t waste your time (like 30 min max to finish this terrible excuse for poetry/writing) or money.

I love this book, and it came quickly and it nice condition, and actually at a much cheaper price compared to other sites where I'd check this book out. BUT! The target sticker would not budge, which made me super upset because this book is beautiful both inside AND out, and the sticker had ruined the cover. Luckily overtime I found an alcohol prepping pad wipe, and it removed the sticky residue and what was left of the sticker easily!
