My 8-pound 15 year- old mixed terrier dog has no teeth and this pill pocket is very soft and very easy for her to swallow. She takes 1/4 of a small prescription pill - the whole tablet is smaller than a baby aspirin. For her, just a small pinch of the soft pill pocket is enough to completely encase the medication and she easily swallows it. It’s a perfect solution for small dogs with or without teeth. I highly recommend this product.

I like Greenies brand for my dogs teeth cleaning "bones", but I'm not a fan of their pill pockets. These pill pockets are much softer and more pliable. I only use these for my two dogs. They love them!

Using these Milk-Bone Chewy Dog Treats Bone Pill Pouches Chicken Flavor is the only way my Eddy will take his medicine. He is on allergy medicine 2 pills a day. He gets one in. Pill pouch in the morning and one at night. Eddy is one those dogs that eats anything BUT his medicine so using these Milk-Bone Chewy Dog Treats Bone Pill Pouches Chicken Flavor make it so much easier. I hide the pill inside, smooch the soft pill to close edges, and Eddy likes them.
