Use this water stock tank heater in any 100 to 300-gallon water stock. The water de-icer uses thermostatic control coupled with thermal feedback to protect the unit from overheating. The drinking water deicer float is completely enclosed in a rugged, plastic housing, designed to float on the surface of your water stock tank without sinking over time.
Built tough for outdoor use, this livestock water tank heater features a durable, stainless steel heating element that resists corrosion over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I end up getting this deicer during the warm season, but I decided to go ahead and try it out. It heats up the water nicely and floats very well. I love the rubber no rub cord and how the heating coil is underneath of the thermostat to protect in low water. If you need a deicer for your live stocks water container this one is great!
