Q: Is there actually any difference between the night time and regular millie moon diapers? The patterns on the diaper are exactly the same. The absorbency doesn't seem to be any better.

Q: Would these be OK in the largest size, as a nighttime diaper, for a potty trained kid who still wets the bed at night? (he's 5 yrs old and about 40 lbs)

I have tried many night time diapers and these are by far the absolute worst. They leak more than any other and the design is flawed. There is a reason every other major brand makes diapers a similar fashion. Do not buy these!! You will regret it. I thought it was a good deal but not worth it.. choose any other brand and you will be happy. I wish I could return them but I opened them all up

As parents ourselves I can understand how frustrating this would have been for you and your family. Our waistband should fit higher up on your little one’s back to give a snug fit, and our tabs are designed to fasten closer to the hips than the belly button. Not only does this help minimize leaks, but is especially important for newborns, as it means less pressure on their new little belly button. Leaks can often happen due to size issues. The weight range specified on each of our packs is a guide only, and quite often moving to the next size up will stop leaks. Other factors that can cause leaks can include the many movements your baby makes every day, the nature of your baby’s bowel and bladder habits and the way in which the diaper is sitting on your little one. If your little one is a tummy sleeper, this can also be tricky when it comes to issues with leaks. We recommend moving to the next size up whilst sleeping so that the diaper sits higher, or putting the diaper on back to front. We would like to learn more about your experience. We’ve been using Millie Moon diapers since our daughter was a newborn, and started getting these as soon as she fit in the smallest size. Even now through potty training, we still use them for overnight. We’ve never had an issue with leaking, they are very absorbent! Just as comfortable as the regular diapers, and we love the cleaner ingredients!

Leaks More than Regular Diapers

I've been using the regular Millie Moon diapers for awhile now. Every so often, we'd awake to a leaky diaper, so I figured I'd try the overnight ones. We're 2/2 for nights where they leaked. The first night I thought maybe it was a fluke. Now after the second night and reading other reviews, I'm thinking these just aren't very good. They seem worse for overnight than the regular diapers. For what it's worth, my son just sized up into size 5 (I don't think he's even reached 30 lb yet) so it shouldn't be an issue of needing to size up. I'll also chime in and say the designs between the day and night diapers are near identical at a glance, so keep that in mind if using.

We've been using the overnights for about 8 months now and we've never had a leak! Maybe a little on the edges of the legs/bum when its really full come morning, but seriously, these are the best. They are super soft like the day diapers and have no scent or any irritating ingredients. The price is also totally reasonable! Highly recommend.

It sucks this is only available at Target bc Target can't get it together and deliver it on time. Every time I order from them, they are over a week late. I usually try to order a week before but they are just ridiculous with their shipment. I will just have to change to another brand even though I like these bc of Target shipment issues.

There’s no way to distinguish the overnight diapers from the regular ones. They look/feel/function the same. Feels like a way for Millie Moon to make more money since there are less diapers per pack.
