Did not think the content at the end of the book was appropriate for our son.

I was not happy that there is such a longing style romance story considering this is suppose to be a children’s book. That part stuck out very clearly and was talked about more than the rest of the book with my 8 year old son. Whether it be 2 girls, 2 boys or a girl and a boy…. (In this case 2 girls) I just don’t think it’s a necessary addition to the story. Maybe the book series is suppose to be geared for an older children’s group. I bought it obviously because most kids not only love Minecraft, but also graphic novels. Just read the books you choose for your kids first… never know what the context will be.

very cute book. I saw a comment on here about a lesbian couple and how it was inappropriate, there is nothing inappropriate about this book. One girl asked another on a date and they both liked each other. I got this book for my brother and read it before giving it to him. I doubt he would care about the two girls going on a date because we’re not raising him to be homophobic or close minded.

My five year old loved this book. He Ioves Minecraft so the references to the game made it engaging for him. I had no clue what was happening but he did.

This book was great for my five year old and his six year old friend. It was entertaining and a great way to make enjoy the Minecraft world without being in front a screen.

Loved reading this book aloud to my 6-year-old. The dialogue and illustrations are great and the characters are kind, encouraging, and totally age appropriate. The girls deciding to go on a date at the end is a brief moment where one gal decides to be brave and the other reciprocates her feelings. It’s very sweet. My 6 year old doesn’t know what a date is, but he knows that love is love. I’d totally read him more books from this series.

This book is great and I love that it’s inclusive. My 4 and 7 year old love it. I recommend it to anyone that isn’t raising their kids to be bigots.

I don't think 4-8 is the appropriate age range for this book. I'm very glad my husband read it before letting my 5-year-old read it. The two female characters in the story enter into a lesbian relationship. That is not an appropriate topic for children's fiction. This experience has taught me to ALWAYS read and watch something first.
