Mini Brands Books Capsule

As a book lover these mini books are my favorite! They have text in them which is so cool. Can't want to collect them all. I think they are a perfect gift for adult book lovers due to the books in the series and nostalgia.

Super cute, first few pages you can read

I love the mini brands books series 1 they are very realistic you can read the pages they are the cutest thing!! I need Mini Brands to comes out with series 2

I love all the tiny things and was so excited to get them and see them in person! These are my most favorite of all the tiny things! They are so hard to find and I was super excited that Target carried them and let me know when they were available!

The mini books are super detailed and so cute!!

Books are not readable like advertised. You can read the cover, cover page, and the first page, but the rest is illegible gibberish.

Cute books in a mini size that are perfect for doll collectors or anyone who loves books. They look just like their full-size counterparts. They come with bookshelves so hou have a place to store your collection. They are difficult to find, so grab them when you see them!

They say “5 surprise” but one of the surprises is a paper bookmark and one is now a shelf so there’s only 3 books but they are very well made

The display box at the store said 5 items per ball but I only got 3 books and a bookshelf. I’m also pretty sure the display box said every ball comes with a magnifying glass so you can read the books and I didn’t get that. $8 seems a little steep so idk how many of these I’ll buy.

One had two bookshelf’s and no books. Disappointing considering the high price.

It’s cute and small but it’s not “readable”. Only comes with three and it’s so expensive for only 3. If it came with 4 or 5 sure since it is not readable.

If I could give zero stars I would. Only the first page is readable, the rest is gibberish. Some are even just symbols, not even random letters. We were really looking forward to actually reading the small books. Only 3 books per egg, and sometimes got two of the same book in one egg. What a rip off.

Love these! My adult daughter and I are collecting them together, and the variety has been pretty satisfying. We're still on the hunt for the magnifying glass, though.

Very disappointed! Three of the 4 capsule were the same. I thought they were mixed.

I thought these books were supposed to have written words on all the pages and on the hard cover book only had like the first 3 pages typed out and rest were blank very expensive for what it was would not buy again

So let me ask you a question. If this (pictured below) were in the toy section priced for $100. would you buy it? I will admit, I bought 14 of these in the picture below and each ball had only 3 books totaling 42 in all. Of those 42 books, I have only 21 titles meaning the remaining 23 were duplicates. Unfortunately, most of those duplicates were of the same book such as the 5 Alice in Wonderland, 4 blue goosebumps, and 5 little sister. In each ball there was only one Hardback book and the other two varied between paperbacks. Only once did I receive a magnifying glass and it took the place of the bookmark. Every one came with a bookshelf which was irritating because they unfortunately did not vary. You can stack the bookshelves to make a single or triple and if you get crafty you can make a sideways shelf but beyond that there isn't much you can do with those. Fortunately for me, I also craft the miniverse make it mini foods so I can use these "bookshelves" as cabinets for ingredients. I read in the question portion someone asked how many books do you get and another person gave an answer that it depended on the price of the ball. This is not correct at all as I have bought numerous balls, all from either Target or Meijer. Meijers cost $9.99 and every single one that I bought (an additional 9) had again only 3 books, a bookshelf and a bookmark and the balls were identical. I can assure you that paying more has not gotten me any more than 3 books per ball and of those, most were duplicates. You will hear the random person say they got 4 books or multiple magnifying glass. I can assure you though after buying a depressing 30 or more balls from multiple stores and locations ( 5 to be exact) three books is the typical quantity. Do I highly recommend these, Yes! That being said though, I do not recommend buying any more than 4 or 5. Also, I wouldn't put much faith in the labeled "rare and ultra rare" as 5 of my hardback duplicates were ultra rare and most of the others were "rare". Some people may think that they can gift the other multiples or they have more than one child but sadly most of the multiples are the same ones so you end up with 5 or 6 making it difficult to make a second collection. Unlike miniverse or other mini brands, I don't believe there is a weight hack you can use on these so I don't recommend buying more than 5 (unless you have an endless amount of money), its pointless. Some people may also wonder if they get the same duplicate ball and the answer is no. I've even seen a YouTube where a person got the same book twice in one ball. I myself have gotten duplicates but then the 3d pack be a new one so turn that frown upside down if the first pack you open is one you already have because it's no indication you've gotten that ball before. Also I've found that most of the time the bookmark will be with the hardback. Be very careful, the bookmarks can rip easily! To end this I will remind everyone that only the first (or second in some) page is readable unless you get mad libs and for some reason that is entirely readable. I know this aggravates some but come on, were you really planning on sitting down to read this to your kids? Also, the magnifying glass is pretty much a gimmick because even though it works, it's too small to use efficiently.
