Q: Instructions on lamp say takes a "type B" bulb. I search on Target and nothing comes up for a type B bulb. Is there some other designation for the bulb this lamp takes?

A: It takes the kind of bulb a fan with multi lights . Shaped like a flame if that helps.

A: E12 bulbs have a base size of a nightlight. You may want to try a candelabra bulb for more watts.

The lamp might be fine but if you order it online the lamp will arrive in a box without padding so the shade will be crushed and destroyed by the metal piece inside. I can’t tell if it is shipping damage or if the lamp was designed to hold the shade off center but it makes the lamp worthless
