The MINNIDIP Luxe Inflatable Fountain is the first-ever inflatable fountain sprinkler for your backyard, featuring the look of a real courtyard fountain with the soft sound of trickling water in the inflatable basin below. The inflatable basin is separate from the water spray channel and can be used as pool even when hose and spray are turned off. Control the height of the water spray by adjusting water pressure of connected garden hose (garden hose not included)—on lowest setting will spray downward into water basin and on the highest setting will spray outward up to a diameter of 10ft!

Q: Can this pool be placed on a flagstone pool deck or should it be placed on grass? I'm concerned about the bottom getting holes, etc.

A: Hi yogamom! The inflatable Minnidip fountain should always be set up on soft ground free of debris, such as rocks or sticks, to avoid punctures and to offer comfort while sitting in it. Thank you!

Q: will the water eventually flow over the edges then since it doesn't recycle back through the fountain?

A: Hello, The fountain sprinkler is safe for use as a pool because it does not utilize any electrical components like a pump and the spray is powered by the attached garden hose. The garden hose should not be left running when unattended and only turned on when in use. It fills up slowly when the hose is turned on a low setting and directed into the basin versus outward like a sprinkler. If the basin water amount reaches the desired height, then the spray should be turned off or directed to spray outside of the basin like a sprinkler before overflowing. There is a drain plug in the basin to drain it like all of our pools. Hope that helps!

Q: How does the water pump up through the center? Is that a solar pump or do we need to buy a separate pump and connect it? If so, how/where do we do that?

A: Hello Marlow, thank you so much for your question. The Minnidip inflatable fountain sprinkler is fully powered by the garden hose that you attach to it, and the height of the spray is controlled by the hose's water pressure. A standard garden hose (not included) connects to a tube that directs the water through the center pillar. The water does not cycle from the basin to the pillar, and no electricity is used. Breaks after one use. We live in Michigan and buy things like this often months before we can use since that’s when they’re in stock. By the time we used this it was past the return window and it broke after one use. The middle fills with water and when I say it was too heavy to even drag across the grass, that should tell you how it tips over in the middle and renders it completely useless. I can’t believe they’re still selling this when everyone has the same problem to be honest. The photo attached is a screenshot of a video to give an idea.

We bought this this spring and just went to use it for the first time this weekend - and it doesn’t work. The center part filled with water and didn’t spray. It’s been months between purchase and use, so we cannot return it. An expensive bummer.

So cute and so fun! My 17month old daughter loves swimming around in circles and the water fountain - it entertained her for quite a while. This pool is really easy to inflate. You do have to turn your hose on very very very low to get the right amount of spray, otherwise the fountain will shoot up 20 feet in the air.

It is a beautiful little fountain but after the third use the fountain itself began filling up with water and it is near impossible to drain. I anticipate some serious mold/mildew issues. What a shame to throw such a pretty item away.

Bought this for my 15 month old to play with this summer in the backyard. Used yesterday for the first time. Absolutely darling! I couldn’t believe how high the fountain can spray! I kept it on low pressure, but when on high, it easily sprays 15-20’ in the air! Amazing!!! Waiting to come back in stock so my friend can buy one too.

So the fountain itself is cute and inflates easily. The issue with the design is where you hook up your garden hose. It’s a cheap hose that comes apart and is covered by a sleeve of the material the fountain is made of. So when the hose becomes disconnected, good luck washing up through the sleeve to reconnect. I was able to but it keeps coming disconnected. And it’s not the water pressure causing a disconnection. It’s the poor design.
