Switching to Mint is Easy

Activate: Go to the Mint Mobile app or mintmobile.com/activation & follow our simple steps. During activation, you can choose to bring your phone number or get a new one.
Swap your SIM: Punch out the right-sized SIM card & insert it into your device. Check your phone's manual to ensure you are using the correct size SIM. You can use the provided SIM ejector tool to pop-out the SIM tray on your device.

Not all phones support eSIMs as well, so I'd ensure your model does, if so Mint Mobile would be the only people able to activate it as they are the carrier in which you'd be activating with. Q: When I purchased my SIM card the sign said I would get $20 gift card from Target, which I did receive but it also said I would get $20 from Mint Mobile. How do I get the $20 from Mint Mobile?

Q: What happens after the 3 months period? does the rate increase and how much? Will be there contract to keep same rate of $20/month after the 3 months period?
A: After your initial plan period, you can log into your account online or via our app to renew into a 3, 6 or 12-month plan and keep your savings going. We’ll send you an email with a recommended data amount based on your usage. Keep the same amount, or upgrade or downgrade based on what’s right for you. There is a small price increase after the initial period. You can log into your account to see the increase for your chosen plan.
