I guess I’m somewhat of a water tasting snob or connoisseur. Austin water sometimes has this odd odor and as weird as it seems punt intended, smells like wet dog. Needless to say filtered water is always a necessary choice in my book. Not to mention water is decadent on hot sultry days and nights !

In my location we had a bad storm that ultimately took out our water supply and we were without water for 7 days. After water was put back we were in a boil stage for several days. This was perfect timing to replace my water filter in my refrigerator. I have had this product in the past and actually prefer this product. It’s always in stock and easy to get when needed. This is a huge plus when maintaining an appliance of this type. It is very important to replace and always keep a clean filter in line. I have used this filter for many years and have never had a failure or issue with this filter. I recommend getting this filter for your specific appliance. You will be satisfied. It is easy to remove and easy to replace. No tools needed and easy access from inside your refrigerator. It literally takes a few seconds to replace. Don’t delay. Just replace!! Not everyone has the ability to have clean fresh water at their convenience so take advantage of this opportunity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying different water filters for my Kenmore Elite refrigerator to see which ones make my water taste the best. So when I got this Mist filter, I had replaced my last filter less than 3 months earlier. I did a taste test between the water from that filter and the water from this filter and found that the water from this filter tasted much better and was less slimy. I don't know if the other filter had water softener in it or something, but it had a different taste to it. This filter made my water taste like fresh spring water. It's amazing! I had all of my kids do a taste test also and they agreed that this one was better. It did have a slight aftertaste the first couple of cups, but it has gone away since. I did flush the cartridge in the fridge for 5 minutes (about 3.5 gallons) before using it, so I know it was at it's best when I tried it. The install went really fast and easy and it fit great into my Kenmore fridge. I would highly recommend this filter.

This Mist LG filter is no different than what I’ve been using. The water is clear and taste great. There’s no smell to it. However, the first few days when the water sits in the cup for about 30 min. it started to have a lot of bubbles sticking to the glass’s wall. I’m not sure the reason for it, but after a week of use the bubbles stop and the water looks clear even after left untouched for more than an hour. Overall, the water taste great and fresh.

Flushed the system according to the instructions and the water tastes great. The filter lasted well and I have noticed no difference over my past filters. Will be ordering more.

We have drank the water and notice no bad tastes. Spring water is still the best but this is a close second and less expensive while being more convenient.

The Mist filter does exactly what needs to be done to improve the taste and quality of water. The replacement time is usually about 8 months for us, as we only have 2 adults in our household, and the filter package lists 200 gallons before a change is needed. Easy to change and contact info on the box-- if needed-- are two more pros.
