Description
Miyabi continues to strive for perfection with the introduction of the Miyabi Kaizen series - Japanese for "improvement" or "change for the better." This next generation of Miyabi knives, combines the greatest hardening technology with the artistry of traditional craftsmanship. VG10 steel is adorned with a 64-layer Damascus pattern and the linen Micarta handle features a mosaic pin, red accent spacers, and steel end cap. Made in Seki, Japan.

I love how it looks especially the blade, I will be looking forward to using this knife for all my prep work. It came very sharp out of the box and I have had a terrific time using chopping herbs and alliums. It feels very well made, I cannot feel that any corners were cut producing this knife. I highly recommend this knife.

It is so sharp that it works for cutting, slicing, leveling, etc. It definitely feels luxurious compared to any other kitchen knifes in hands. The texture and design on the blade and handle makes it look like a real samurai knife. Be careful not to cut yourself!
