[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing several different brand gloves for my son, he just wasn't happy with any of them. I purchased this mizuno, let me tell ya it was great. Right out of the package my son loved the feel and fit. The power close technology and material of the mizuno prospect series can not be matched!!!

I purchased this glove for my 6 year old since a couple of travels parents said it was a really great glove. So in June we bought this glove for my son since he was starting a travel team. Well fast forward to October as he is warming up before our game, my son came to me in a panic mom my glove broke. So I drove to the nearest Academy and bought the SAME glove since it is a easy break in and my son was already used to it. I thought awesome problem solved. WRONG THE NEXT MORNING THIS GLOVE IS NOT EVEN 24HOURS OLD YET and, my Son comes up to me again mom my glove broke AGAIN. Mind you these kids are 6-7 they aren't throwing 95MPH. So freaking great right thankfully our coach had a back up he was able to use. And yes Both Gloves had been oiled and kept up with. Thankfully after much back and fourth with academy, they took the new broken glove back we bought the day before and said they would put the money from the broken glove towards a different glove brand.

I purchased this glove in August. I've spent a lot of time helping my son break it in. Today he was playing catch MINUTES BEFORE HIS GAME, and the ball went right through the web of the glove - the web straps completely severed. I had to scramble just to find a glove for him to use in the game. This should NOT HAPPEN!!! I have Rawlings gloves that I've used for over 30 years that never had this problem. I will be contacting Mizuno to complain. Extremely disappointing!!!
