Hardest part is mounting in the wall evenly. Have to get lucky that your home was built correctly with 16” studs OC.

The instructions to hang are wrong. We tried to hang it based on measurements in the packet and nope had to keep making holes until finally got it Not sure if it’s based off the wall but measure twice cut once people!

This is a great floating stand. It was easy to assemble, and did not take much time. The hardest part was mounting it. We had to drill additional holes to secure it. Would recommend longer screws and anchors.

I have never experienced such utter disrespect from a piece of furniture. The way that this is mounted is the absolute worst method I have ever had the displeasure of coming across in my entire life. You have to measure out two separate pieces of wood on the wall, and get them absolutely perfect in order to “mount” this shelf. It’s terrible. It’s horrific. I wanted to scream and cry. It took me hours. I would have immediately returned this had I not already spent time building it. If you are planning on mounting this thing yourself, save your time and find something with a normal wall mount. This should be considered cruel and unusual punishment because that was a top ten worst life experience for me. I have built and mounted plenty of shelves before. This one was the devil. Do not buy this.
